Check out the new version by Joy O…(sp?). Just type in Out On the Weekend and you’ll find it. It’s literally even better than this one. Though I love a classic. I came here to hear the original live in this version. Joy’s (female) version is sung to a different/modified tune and it’s just brilliant. One of my favorite songs ever. And I don’t even know why. The words are so funny and disconnected but dang it’s awesome.

Pure as the driven snow. Like golden wheat blowing in the breeze. This is Neil for all he's worth, just the big old Martin, the harp, and that powerful but also delicate trademark voice. He is an inspiration for anyone that believes in the expression "It's all about the song." That condenser mike makes his guitar sound like a cannon too! I think he's the only artist that it's "impossible not to like." Mountains of respect I have for this guy.

Never disappoints huh? Look up the concert in Louisville, Kentucky at the Freedom Hall and the riots he caused because he was too drunk to not piss himself..... A fuckin hells angel went on stage and chopped out two big lines of pure Colombian cocaine to wake him up and get him through the show..... He says in a piss drunk voice....... I’m not doing that shit and wipes it off of his Piano.... Not a thank you....., Not a no thank you..... Not a “you are a lifesaver” Nope...... the drunken bafoon tells a hells angel with gold star tats on each pectoral “fuck you” for a such a nice gesture, then proceeds to further disrespect the Angel by wasting his Cocaine.......... It was the last time he was ever too drunk to perform. The Angels Rioted, the Rest of the loving fans turned on their riot modes and destroyed everything. Neil Young was so drunk that he missed the entire riot......
