▼ IMPORTANT ▼ In this video we will see a solved example of an improper integral of the third kind, natural logarithm of x divided by b ^ 2 + x ^ 2, in the interval from 0 to infinity. For this we first factor b ^ 2 from the denominator, then we make a convenient variable change, we use properties of logarithms to separate into two logarithms (logarithm of product is equal to sum of logarithms). Then we separate into two integrals and in one of them we will use the result of the previous video, and in the other we will calculate the elementary integral that results in a logarithm, thus arriving at the result, all explained step by step.
