Thanks for the video. I used your video to swap the condenser, but I actually found a way that saves even more time. After you pull the top mounts of the radiator, and you pull the airbox, if you pull the tabs on the wiring loom that runs across the top of the radiator, you can pull the radiator back, remove the fan shroud, and then have enough wiggle room to remove the condenser without removing the radiator at all. Takes a little bit of patience to work the dryer around the radiator hose on the passenger side. The little bit of extra time to do that is far easier then removing the whole assembly and dealing with coolant.

Can't tell you how helpful this video and your effort is. Three years later and yours is still the only youtube video on removing these 04-09 radiators. Blew mine up yesterday, so BIG THANK YOU for getting this information out there! You're my new hero. Have a good one, buddy.👍

I used this video today to help me permanently remove my condenser. Thanks for posting! There's not a ton of information on the subject.

Were there transmission cooler lines attached to the radiator? An AC replacement is on my honey-do list this weekend and the service manual says to drain the transmission fluid. Im hesitant to do that because I doubt the fluid was changed and it’s got 148k on it.

Hey very instructional video. Did you change the condenser dry can? And also I will need to remove all the freon ( AC gas) before removing and replacing a leaking radiator?

TECH87 Thank you Tech87, the receiver/drier came preassembled to the condenser, from the manufacturer. I honestly can not tell you for sure, if the radiator can be removed, (easily), without the AC condenser. However, if you could manage accessing the two bolts that hold the condenser to the radiator, it is at least possible to remove the radiator from the vehicle WITHOUT evacuating the AC.

So if I don't have a lift? ...any possibility of it still coming out of the bottom w/ jack stands? Or will that not be enough space?

@@kirkwheeler4590hi there, I'm facing the need to replace the condenser and I wonder if I can use some of your wit. What parts do you remember taking off from the car? I guess you didn't end up pulling out the air box or working with coolant? Did you take off the front bumper to get more access space?

Come on man separating the radiator condenser and fan seems like a no-brainer when they already out of the car we were wanting to see how you took it off of the car
