The inflections, the low, high range , the change in pitch at the right moment to wring out the best interpretation of a song. I’ve never heard any singer sing like that. She can write songs too.

I remember when I heard Sia's interview with Stern. That day I completely fell in love with her!!!! Also, she blows Rhianna out of the water singing Diamonds. Sia's voice is literally one of the BEST VOICE'S I've ever heard. She gives me goosebumps from those pipes of hers. LOVE YOU SIA!!!! ♥️💛💚💙💜

In my opinion, this was Howard’s best interview ever. This is the interview I tell people who aren’t fans to listen to. This was peak Howard when he perfected the blend of both comedic & deeper probing questions. The show sucks now & the interviews do as well. He’s gone too mainstream & tries too hard to psychoanalyze the guests.

Best version of Diamonds by far, a) because it's Sia b) the emotion in her voice due to amazing interviewer Howard Stern.

Music is the Universal language so powerful, so emotional, so thought provoking, so perfect like all things when God first created light, then love, then all life in this infinite Universe! Since our time and presence in this life is short, the power of music can raise up our souls that are beyond this world.

Sia, your version blows Rihannas' published version of this song you wrote and sold to her. You r so beautiful. Being famous has to be so challenging in so many ways. No one would ever leave u the fuck along. I get it why u would want to hide your face.

@@uranus.s I think you're wrong, my friend. 🙂 It's "in this guy". I know this because it's one of my top 2 favorite songs. This and the Lady Gaga song Bad Romance where she says "caught in the bedroom ants". It's about a Romance went bad because they were being intimate and there were so many Ants in the bedroom it became a big problem.

Every so often a song arises from the pop world and achieves a higher calling - helping the listener achieve a deeper spiritual and emotional state. This does that for me, but in some ways it has always felt like half a song and that it needed some sort of bridge or chorus to make it even better. Am I the only person to think that? Or would my idea ruin the hypnotic quality?

Blue I believe they were filming performances at this time, but, for whatever reason, I don’t think it was ever released. There is an audio-only version of this performance available on the SiriusXM app and the sound is pristine, much better than on this video, if you’re curious. It’s cut off at the end rather abruptly though.🤷♂️

NOT! I strongly disagree. Sia wrote this song. But stage freight scared her for many years. Idk how u think Rhianna version better. Cause I'm almost deaf in my left ear. And I clearly hear notes from sias soul. Where it feels meaning less from Rhianna. Sia=goosebumps Rhianna = middle school choir practice
