Fun Fact: Ants and Termites are natural enemies, and termites are in fact a heck of a lot larger than ants but in battle, ants annihilate termites. If I recall the movie they DID kill the entire termite colony (queen included) but at the cost of the ENTIRE army (except Z)
@parkertitle1923

Not quite the entire army. There were a few forces loyal to general Mandible that he kept alive. That’s actually why he sent the soldiers here to the termite raid. They were loyal to the monarch so he sent them to die. While keeping forces loyal to him fresh and ready to fight if it came down to that.

Yep, well when i meant "this part scared me" is because the song relates to the ant-termites fight, and that was fking scary when i was a child X)

Kasilyn Stevens RobertAniFreak Still, as old as a movie may be, I don't think I even saw this one until the mid 2000's. Calling a movie old is naive. I mean look at Star Wars A New Hope. That was made a long time ago, but even if you watched it for the first time today, it would still be a great movie!

It's been nearly an entire decade since I watched this film... watching reviews of it again and listening to the soundtrack and watching different scenes on youtube... I never realized how dark and serious this movie was back then... and of course never realized that it had a score composed by Harry Gregson Williams (the guy who did parts of "The Rock" and CoD4...). I have to go back and watch this film I think :D

This is why I loved the Antz movie more than Bugs Life because they didn’t go the child friendly route but put in more of a realistic way making it more nitty and gritty. The aftermath of the battle puts everything into perspective they aren’t seen as equals but cannon fodder that can be sent on a suicide mission just to be replaced by the next generation of soldiers.
