What movement do you make while welding the first part? Is it up and down or side to side etc…

Hi there Jackson Roberts. The movement is Down... Up. You collect weld puddle at the sleeve (down) and whip it up. With slight spiral movement counterclockwise. Thanks for watching.

The pipe is for purging. It is connected to a bottle of Argon to blow a tiny amount of gas unto the hose. It prevents "graping" inside the hose, where your weld is. For this size, i use no 4 cup. It helps me control my puddle even amp is a little high (25-33). Keep practicing.

How to avoid burning, creating a hole on the thin surface? Any trick?

@@wonderyatfule3713 I remember when I first began working with hoses, I always screwed up my piece. But I learned overtime. First, start with low heat. Small size like this turn your AMP to 15 to 25. Learn controlling your pedal. Second, begin with low speed. Don't rush and lastly, control your weaving. Place your torch in an angle (i prefer 30⁰ to 40⁰). Make C movement or circular movement of your weld. Happy welding. Thanks for watching.
