I have the sudden urge to eat pancakes now... :) Interesting variation of the omnipresent Sherman, i like it a lot. Never heard of Stahlhelmmodels before, thats a good brand name for sure.

Can't beat a good Aunty Pancake mate lol It's something a bit different then your run of the mill gun armed Sherman. And it certainly stands out in the collection. I really need to add more of funnies to my ever growing family of M4s lol

@@longlance67 anything that has to do with Sherman's I will watch. There are what I build most. My uncle was a driver in an m4. They got in the battle of the ardent. Battle of the bulge . He thinks it was a tiger. He lost a small pice of his leg. So I'm kind of parcel too sherman

@@longlance67 I just got motivated. I'll send you digital photos of a very large WW2 1/35 / 1/32 diorama I've done that's original. I'm not on social media like Facebook or Instagram, etc. If you have a business email I can send them to that. PS: Really impressive German camo painting.

First time I've seen a model with this conversion on it, it's going to look great when it's done. It's not often I see a model with an unusual modification that really stands out, I'm sure I've seen footage of the real one (the old memory is not what it used to be) and I think it may have been one of "Hobarts Funnies" but I could be wrong. Great video up to a reliable high standard Shane , nice one mate, I look forward to the next step

Thanks mate, its one of the unusual Shermans that I really love. So calling it a funny would be correct, however this an American Army funny if you like. Hobarts Funnies belonged to the British 79th Armored Division that included the Sherman Carbs (their much more successful mine flail) and Churchill ARVE family too. I'm really looking forward to painting and weathering this one up!

@@longlance67 haha, i stand corrected, I did say my memory's not so good, I'm probably getting it mixed up with the one like a cotton reel on the front that laid out a long matt to help support the tanks weight on the soft sand. To be honest I thought that they only used British "funnies" cheers mate 👍
