I like building one wheels down as open as you can, then the second one is built wheels up. This plan works great until you run out of display space lol. Great videos glad you showed up in my recommendations feed lol my girlfriend may not like you come winter lol

Display space is overrated! I end up giving some of my models away and might end up selling others as I run out of space..or my son steals them and goes and plays with them in his room!

Great review Becker! Very informative! 17:50 you asked the decal producer, it is a Chinese company called Galaxy Model which focuses on producing pre-cut masks, decals as well as some tools (riveting tools for example)

That was an awesome review, Chris! Most of the kit reviews I see focus on the details, but eschew the quick dry fit to see how well the kit may come together. I hope more reviewers start doing what you just did. It’s amazing how far many of the Chinese kit manufacturers have come - to the point where they surpass the Hasegawa kits that used to be the standard bearer for aircraft kits (kinda sad how they just rebox so many of their kits and just call it a day). GWH should be sending you review kits, because you just sold me on the kit! Keep up the great posts, and sorry you have to work over Christmas!

Thanks Tex - yeah I much prefer a proper fit review (although I occasionally baulk at that, got one coming up where I dont touch it!) and I'm really enjoying the GWH stuff for sure, wont say no to their upcoming 1/48 F-14 for a review! Cheers Chris

Chris, got behind with our Pacific Northwest weather, how in the world do you keep up with all these kits - this kit is really sharp, sprue map and missiles ready to go - I feel like Tom Hanks in his movie Castaway , not knowing all the manufacturers you come across, probably good because I'd spend all my milk money, plus I want to check out your French Connection. I'm waiting on my Magee Spit variant, Lancs are in the hanger for just a bit longer waiting on a crew. That outfit starting with "A" has a chap building their 1/24 on this forum, is in a bit of a sticky wicket with scaling problems, wish surprises me as they promoted the heck out of it. I'm not worried about my Lancs, they check out and are only 1/72. A while back I mentioned building the models for Indepence Day movie, I found the link, I guess I can send it and not break rules, I think you'll find it interesting, kzitem.info/news/bejne/14iwval8cp2QfX4 If I didn't attach it right let me know - you are the web expert. Once again, great revue I must figure out a way to stay up with all these new kits and if they are available in the states, Cheers for now.

Be aware of the rare side aseembly (the thing mentioned in video around 8:00, part F18 and F19), the assembly sequence (Step 11) in their instruction is probably not the best, may consider put parts F18 and F19 on the engine bay first before glue the entire engine bay with lower body.

I agree there should be an option in every kit to at least engineer the landing gear doors to fit closed, but personally I love scratch detailing landing gears and bays as part of the hobby and some landing gears just look great with the wiring and brake lines exposed. Chris, Have you done a build in take-off or landing with gears half open?

More than one hobby for sure Craig! No I haven't done a takeoffor landing diorama yet but I do intend on doing some catapult launch dioramas with F14s one day.
