I'm watching your videos in preparation of building my 1/48 "Bronze Tiger" Typhoon. Very informative! Thank you for doing them. I found the filler mix of metallic pigment and super glue interesting. Never heard of that combination before but I use something similar as a filler - super glue and talcum powder (baby powder). I recommend giving that a try.

This is an old video. I use the Dspiae black gap filler now.

Great work Richard with a somewhat tough kit, the Eurofighter moulds must be ready for a re-polish by now :) LOL.

Great and informative video, Richard! Just the camera focus is sometimes a bit annoying ;-) BTW, the reason for the different wing root on the right side of the EuFi is that it houses the onboard cannon. The muzzle though is covered by a cap blended into the fuselage. This means that if the gun is employed, the first bullet's task is to basically pop open the cap. There are two reasons for the cap (to my knowledge): First one to protect the gun and the other reason is for the maintenance personnel to recognize whether or not the gun's been fired. Good to know. Nothing I can do about camera. This is a free channel with no ads or income. I am a single dad and no means to upgrade unfortunately. So it is what it is.

Amazing cideo! Favourite RAF plane for me! I’m getting into modelling at the moment. I’ve seen Revell spray paint and it’s like £7.50 a can of 100ml. I’ve seen a make called Hycote which isn’t really a make for modelling and 400ml for £7.50. So bigger one makes sense to buy. Do you think spraying with an aerosol would be more beneficial to start off with then to purchase an Airbrush in the future please? Thanks man! Ryan

Hello, thanks for watching and leaving a comment. Whenever I use spray cans I always decant and then spray through airbrush for control. Cans send out a lot of paint. It could work but very light misting coats is what you need. Otherwise you are going to flood the model and loose the panel lines. I don't think you necessarily need a modeling brand. A cheap one from an automotive or hardware store should work. It would be hard to get a color match though. I would highly recommend an airbrush if/when you can afford it. I use a ProCon Boy 0.3 Platinum. It can be had for about $110. I love it!
