+ you should put the tail end of your tomcat mount to a 360 type pivot point. That way you can spin the model just like the moment He inverted in the scene :)

Very cool. I remember working with a few guys to create new 1/72 1/48 and 1/32 decals and for Top Gun. We tried to obtain rights to print the names and tail markings so we could distribute the decals. That was a bust.

I always thought that shot would be impossible because the vertical stabs would contact the other aircraft. I see now it wouldn’t be. Impractical and dangerous, yes, but crazy that the canopies could actually tuck in like that. Cool display.

Oh my good, good to see you back here, and especially with these news. Since I was a small boy the Me 163 Komet fascinates me. These rocked powered planes with all the risks included are so cool. And they have tons of nice paint schemes(please dont do the red one😂). I already built RC models of it and the Dragon two seater Me 163 S version. Just amazing this plane. Cant wait to see you build one of these. If I can help you with references, just let me know. I have tons of books and blueprints of the HWK rocket engine, if you gonna build it with the tail off. Wondering where you've been! Early in the video the first thing that came to my mind was "it would be cool if you had Mavrick in there giving the bird" and ill be damned if you didn't flip it over and show just that!!! You, my friend, are a brilliant artist! That had me in stitches and is the coolest custom build EVER! Its perfect and there are thousands of Top Gun fans out there our age all awaiting the new one to hit the theaters so get ready to build that Super Hornet! I already have my eye on the Revell kit but will be looking to you to show me how to do it right! Looking forward to the next build and now that its 71 degrees in Florida ill be spending more time inside trying to keep warm so keep the videos coming!!!! Cheers!

@@seanerk5kt9 Thx! This including the display stand too? I thought something like that and calculated if I wanted to build that it would probably use something like 50 to 60 hrs or so. Would equal to 7 to 8 hrs a day for a week.

Excelente diorama de esa iconica escena de "Top Gun" donde el F-14 de Maverick y Goose, invertidos, realizan sus "Relaciones foraneas" con los pilotos del MiG-28...A pesar de lo irreal de esa escena en el "Mundo real", quedó muy bien especialmente con Maverick "saludando amablemente con su dedo medio"...Pero faltó que Goose tomara la foto con una cámara Polaroid...Buen trabajo y que le den más de lo que pida porque el trabajo lo vale...Greetings from Colombia...

Yeah, my dad was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and I’ve been helping him get to and from the hospital and helping with stuff around their house. Been a bit of a downer and didn’t feel like doin vids. I’m getting into a routine though so I’m gonna start filming again.

when I saw that finger @6:04 I exploded in a laugh and almost peed in my pants 😂😂😂 pure genius, buddy!! What a coincidence, spent the last nights going back to watch that movie twice...gosh 1986, I was just a kid, and absolutely fell captured by F-14s....I believe the movie set a benchmark back then, but seeing it now, I could say the screenplay was absolutely ridiculous....IMHO, of course! But I bet we kids just wanted to see those crafts flying, nothing else mattered... 😉

At the time, that was the best air-to-air footage of F-14s. The Final Countdown had some good Tomcat footage too. They say the new one is going to blow us away with the flying footage. I was 12 when the movie came out and I remember it like yesterday!

HA! I KNEW IT! A TOMCAT FREAK! That's cool - the only jet I can stand is the F-4, which I did order the Zoukie 1/48th "E" version. Yes, a jet. When will it get built you ask, after a long line of 47's, but before any full interior Takom tanks. The dio looks cool, especially with the Italian sign language displayed by "Mav". The "Chickee do" HA! TOO FUNNY! Luftwaffe jets! Now that's pretty cool. I have a few, as usual all brands the 47 took down. Good luck with the Comet

Awesome job man this is great! You made me watch Topgun last night lol. Too bad in the movie they didn’t have the planes loaded with Phoenix missles wouldve made the belly look a lot more interesting but I’m sure the Navy didn’t want them flying around for a movie fully loaded.
