There is this misunderstanding that Logic started writing this song way back. It was meant to be called that. But I can se it’s kinda weird that Joyner shows the song to logics manager and the the song is called a phone number but it was supposed to be called 1 800 273 8255. From the start

Great reaction guys. I'm usually not interested in new music at all, I'm old school. But this was a great song with a great powerful message. I knew someone who committed suicide when I was in high school back in the day and this song reminded me of him.

I think it's better to listen to songs without a video first. That way you can visualize what the artist is trying to convey rather than a director. You can only experience listening a 1st listen once and you can always go to the video afterwards

So much that folks wouldn't think I would have absolute sympathy for ANYone suffering so bad they want to die. Desperate to ha e a big heart, I wouldn't even some of the most evil or ruthless people just end their life. Gotta look out for each other FAR more than offend each other.

This request may be a bit out of left field. Black Violin ft Kenny Muhammad tour bus freestyle. Black Violin are a hip hop violin group that has been around for a long time. Before Lindsey sterling and other more well known hip hop violinists. I am bringing them up because you brought up that beat boxing in that other video. Plus it's different but still really good I think. Another group that would be good is Goodie Mob. It was where I first saw Ceelo Green. Beautiful skin would be a good song to react to. But any song off of the their debut album would be a nice start. They are the group outside of Outcast that really put Atlanta rap on the map first.

eh logic got called out by phora for this song. Because logic made this song at a time when mental health and celebrity suicides where the popular hot topic and logic profited off of it. Rather than actually having mental health issues such as phora or an NF who write about it for higher purposes and their own processes, not for a singles.

@Wulf Timing was to perfect and to many celebs on the video for me to respect it. I'd respect it if he outwardly said he had issues and or took money gained off the song and gave it back.wouldnt know his content outside of him hes being busy telling everyone hes black in every song with zero other content accompanied by the same flow in 99% of song..thus his last album being. 💩 Check out phora -no scope he disses him for it.

Like others have said, "I'm Sorry" by Joyner Lucas is the next song you guys should do. Watch the video for that too, maybe put the lyrics up on the side since Joyner says a lot more. It's a tough situation for Joyner because like no one wants to start beef about something like suicide prevention awareness, but Joyner's song was very personal about someone he lost close to him so he felt it was a bit fake for Logic to essentially copy the concept for pop stardom. I like this song, but Logic overall has become very mediocre. He's like a slight step above NF. Can't really recommend much from him.
