Hi Laurel, I really love your videos and your way of making cards so lighthearted and without a stick stucking... Well ;-) Did you know you can use any die to dry emboss? All you need is an inexpensive silicone-baking-mat. Cut it the size of your die-cutting-plate, lay the paper you like to emboss facewards on the mat, the chosen die on it and the missing plate on top, run it to the machine and voila, there you go. There are a lot of videos about the technique, and some use expensive supplies from the big companies. But every silicone baking mat from dollartree will do the same job. Greetings from Germany 🤗.

I Love these cards and I have so many dies that I can go wild and crazy on😜🤪😝😛🤣😅 I had a die like the one that you have & I got so tired of poking it out that I had remembered watching a DIY video about putting your die down, than your card stock and than! "Get Ready" "A DRYER SHEET" YES A DRYER SHEET😅😛🤣😝🤪😜❤ All of those tiny pieces came off with the dryer sheet😵😱😳 It's the only way that I use those background die cuts now, they come clean just like hot butta❤ I really enjoy all of your videos, they are so entertaining 😉 but for real they give me so many good ideas and inspiration for making cards. I could watch you all day long🥰😊❤😉❣TY for sharing with me and all of your KZitem Family ❤ 😊❣ Sending Love, Hugs and Tons of Smiles 😃 🤗 XOXO Vicki from the State of Utah 🍯🐝 Be Safe and Stay Healthy !

Cool. I call this “blowing out”a die. I usually make stamps as well; I use fun foam. Even the fall out pieces can be used as decoration, masks, or stamps. Dies are my favorite craft tool because they are so versatile.

Thank you for all the great ideas, Laurel! I learned how to do shaving cream cardstock back when I first started paper crafting. It was so addictive that sometimes it was hard to stop and just toss the well-used and colored shaving cream. Every piece came out different and I just had to see what the results looked like. Kind of like you using all the pieces of the die cuts for more than one item. Thank you!

Swinking term continues to make me giggle. Fun word for a fun technique. Never thought about multiple pieces run with the dye cut to get embossed cards. Maybe I should get my Gemini out - I know it's around here somewhere LOL. Another idea?: Cut the die from a really colorful piece of cardstock and use the pieces in a mosaic that doesn't create the same cutout. Ok and another?: Take the cutout and put it on dark paper. Oh I bet there's 11 x 10 more X how every many trillion dies you may have or share with friends. Like the stars in the sky - infinite. Deep.

just discovered your video - excellent ideas (yes, I too have lots and lots of dies!). Additional ideas - double up or triple up the die cut for some great dimension - use a thin piece of paper over top and do a rubbing. Cut the die out in different colours then add the cut out pieces back in to a white or black version of the die - a stained glass window effect. Ink the die cut then use embossing powder - heat emboss it.

Love these ideas!! Thank you so much for sharing. Is your Panda for sale by chance? My oldest daughter is pregnant with our first grand baby, a boy, and she is due any day now. She is stationed in Germany with the U.S. Army and I will be traveling to see her as soon as the baby is born. Her nursery is Panda themed, which is hard to find these days.
