Glad to see you using that Lip-Grip as often as you can. Sometimes is a fuss but makes getting the hooks out so much safer. Lighten the drag up and wear the fish out and let'm run as more fun ..well for me any way. Nice Video all the same.

@marke.1021 yes I agree! I've seen one too many people get hooked by a thrashing fish. I used to do the lighter drag but felt I lost too many fish that was because it wasn't tight enough. 🤷🏽♂️

Lol I didn't even notice that! Oftentimes I see fish jump and other fishy activities in the water.

Wow! That's a fine morning of fishing and catching. Do you fish the north bay? I haven't had much luck in the south bay'. Seems like there's lots of stripers being caught in the surf along the coast.

@ronmodafferi8202 probably one my best striper days! Super fun. I don't fish the north bay, mostly around the peninsula bay and surf.

@@gc_in_dc I used to fish Millbrae Ave (and 4 th Avenue SM) with my Dad in the late '50's when it was cattail lined shoreline and no hotels. Do you ever fish Coyote Point or Francis Beach?

@ronmodafferi8202 I've been wanting to fish coyote but never have! Francis Beach, yes. I like it down there and need to go again soon!

@@gc_in_dc I frequently fish both places but living in the east bay it's 1-2 hours of driving each way. Coyote is pleasant if not windy and good if fish are "there"!! It's better in a spot where one needs to wade which I don't do at 80 years old.
