Dear Robert I would like to thank you for this high quality lectures. They made me save a lot of time in understanding Arduino electronics and circuit basics. I have a PhD in civil engineering and electronics is one of my hobbies. I had a basic background in electronics and programming and your lectures helped me to get an advanced level. Thanks a lot. Maxime from Paris-France

The PWM example was modulating the timbre of the tone. You would need it to oscillate at a shorter interval of time in order to create higher pitches. The pulse width determines the timbre.

You are free to use any shield, and there are many. Actually, I don't use the EduShield much in the video lectures.

Hi. Thanks for the video. What's the target of the whole tutorial? You mention that 'Arduino' is a device for hobbyists/artists. After watching the videos I'd say that's its rather technical.

kalyankumar manuri - All the details are in the published patents. Actually, the guys who invented it are three patent attorneys South of Portland Oregon. I am a patent attorney myself and I compared my SawStop cabinet saw to the patents. They line up very well. I don't know anything about their new contractor saw since I have not seen it.
