Being offended is a choice, it is a sign of mental weakness. Being worried about offending others at the expense of standing on your values is also a sign of weakness. Women know this, Casey is on point as usual.
@jamesrawlings5781
2 жыл бұрын
When to risk or not risk offending others, whether at the expense of 'standing on your values' (whatever that means. standing up for your values, maybe?) or not, is something a person will have to decide in each instance, depending on the circumstances and what, exactly, he or she is trying to achieve. Maxims like 'x, y or z is a sign of weakness' have to be examined carefully and are usually no replacement for self enquiry, using reason, developing moral judgement, etc.
@Motorsportsinjapan
2 жыл бұрын
@@jamesrawlings5781 You are perhaps confusing offend with insult. A lot of people do these days, just as they confuse acceptance with judgement. Insulting people is not cool, but being offended is 100% a personal choice. Going through life worrying about how other people will react to everything you say is not wise or being true to oneself, but I understand it is the 'thing to do' these days especially in oversensitive countries like the US and Australia, but that does not mean it is the right way. The only opinion of you that matters is your own. Cheers.

Be unapologetic in who you are at all times and know yourself. Build your life on rigid pillars and do not apologize. Prioritize truth over feelings and emotions. Be firm within yourself. Do not let the world bend your values. Whether or not people like or dislike you does not affect your attractiveness. Lead with truth, vision, and purpose. People will demonize what you do or how think if it differs from them. Don't merely go with the flow and be like everyone else because it will smother your purpose. Let your true self shine through and do not waver under confrontation.

its weird that i knew this without actually trying to know about this kind of mindset as prior, if u are an natural masculine man but has changed all that due to society shit testing which eventually gets u drained and submit some of ur masculinity to people u dont even know or care about appreciate this Casey, i needed to hear this. really worth our time
@nicholaslawrence6926

Indeed. The problem with our society is that the bad guys are not afraid to stand for what they believe and be different, while the good guys are afraid to do so in case people get offended. That is why many women find bad guys attractive, because these bad guys dare to stand up and make sacrifices for what they believe to be true. It shows conviction, strength and resilience.

It all comes down to your overall happiness, in any given situation in the relationship. Will verbal confrontation (drama) equate to happiness? We need more context, but generally speaking, no. A guy who likes his happiness doesn't do drama. Driving with her to a date and someone cuts you off and yells at you--Verbally confront? No. That won't make me happy. Someone flirting with her on her social media-- Verbally confront? No. If you find yourself able to exit any given situation that makes you UNHAPPY, without being verbally confrontational, you've won. And you can be disagreeable, without being verbally confrontational, just by saying NO. If someone becomes less attracted to you based on you saying no, and not engaging in verbal confrontation, then guess what, on to the next. Just my .02. Keep up the good work bro

Casey, I have a habit sometimes of saying the word “sorry” even though I don’t mean it i was in a toxic relationship and that’s where I got it from, I ended up feeling like an a**hole because I never was apologetic or ever said sorry and got scolded many times about it so I got used to saying it even though I never mean it
@Chris-dy5fy
2 жыл бұрын
You can communicate in a relative way, I way that others can understand, but no need to be apologetic. For example u could go, "pick up ur shit, stop being lazy." Not a good way to relate. Or, "I know u have a lot going on, u might not be aware of it, but u leave messes for me to clean up. Think about how you would feel if you were on the receiving end of something like this. So I do need you to try to be conscious and considerate with how you leave things. I don't expect u to be perfect, but I do expect that u try." Stern, shows expectations, not overly demanding, shows u can understand why it's happening, relative to how they might see things. Or u could just let it go, then u have no self respect.

I had to laugh a little while listening to this after what happened last night. My gf & I often get into these wrestling matches. She is no joke, she’s a beast of a athlete. Last night we really were getting into it and she got mad cuz she was getting hurt so she started arguing about it and yeah I have no problem staying in the verbal fight, so I said to her hey you’re a (school mascot) not some pussy so don’t start giving me this victim mentality bs, you can take. And besides, know this, if I hurt you it’s not intentional, if it was you wouldn’t be able to get back up, it’s just part of playing rough. She stormed off to the other room and read a book for awhile so I went into the bedroom turned on the tv. She comes in later hops into bed and comes over and lounges her body over mine as usual with her affection and the same thing this morning as if nothing ever happened. 👊

Wanna know the #1 male trait? #1: Don’t obsess with shit like this and at the end of the day you shouldn’t intimidate a female so much that she is scared around you. Be human. Get out there, get some hobbies/interests, and have fun. Do not conform to a specific set of beliefs because it will hurt harder if those beliefs turn out to be invalid/wrong/less logical in the face of a compelling argument. Remember, truth can be bent. Form your wisdom from studying and your own experience. Be open, be yourself, and pursue all the things life has to offer and you will meet someone who genuinely thinks you’re interesting. This is the trait in a nutshell. It’s easy. We’ve been taught to be ourselves since childhood.

With respect, the majority of children haven’t really been taught to be ‘themselves’. From a young age, they have been conditioned in the system to ‘conform’ and care about what their class mates and others think about them. It creates problems later in life when they become teenagers / adults, because they seek validation from others. Most of them don’t have the emotional intelligence to realise that validation has to come from themselves - hence bad decisions as adults later in life.

I think what Casey is saying is that you need to know yourself enough so that you have principles and ideas that you can defend (if they are not worth defending you shouln't have them) while still remaining critical and open to New ones, because this what being rational means: you will hold onto your beliefs until given a reason to change them, not just because the mass tells you to, not just because it is easier. Remaining stubborn is not rational

Move on. It’s not worth the mental torment. Only players and beta males can stomach that. If you make her your girl, you will always feel disgust and any slight issue will trigger insecurity (a protection mechanism against perceived threat). The solution: Pick better. Screen upfront. Be masculine, sexually flirtatious “friends” with women first. You have to be who they are attracted to though and YOU have to friendzone them. They will reveal who they are to you and wonder why you aren’t choosing them. You can pick from the litter after that. This ALWAYS works for me and my guys but we are legit athletes (big af), 6ft, great style and top ten percent income. Women approach us and ask us for our numbers all the time. So you want to become that guy first.

Deal with it right away. Those people are generally bullies they try to instill shame, doubt and fear on other people.They always talk fast and hard so they get you out of balance dont react right away stay calm thats important point then reply with logical answer. If they see you cant be broken they will lose courage. Then you attack with violent answer and show them you can seriously damage them either verbal or physical. You must show how much you tolarete and your limits thats a must if they feel they can bend your boundaries they will. . They just wanna take their misery on others.
