Qutub Minar is the world's tallest tower built in the city of Delhi, India. Iltutmish's Tomb, Alai Darwaza, Alai Minar, Mosques etc. in the premises of the minaret increase the beauty of this minaret manifold. The work of its construction was started by Qutubuddin Aibak in 1193 AD and the whole was done by Iltutmish and once it was broken, it was repaired by Firoz Shah Tughlaq, due to being made in pieces, it is slightly inclined. The height of Qutub Minar is 72.5 meters. It has 379 steps, which reach the summit of the tower. Its width on the ground is 14.32 meters and the final height is only 2.75 meters. There is a pillar of about 2000 years old iron in the premises of the tower, which has not rusted at all till date. There are five different floors in the tower. Which has a projecting balcony on each floor. Red stones and marble have been used in its construction.
