Thanks Robert! What a place to live for all that time. We certainly echo your sentiments about the country. We do recognise the name ‘Thumrait’ actually. Never camped at Khor Rhori although have at Fazaya twice now, what a place! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment, it’s much appreciated 🙂

Like the way you did the match thing at 6:20 Sure seems to be a lot of streams for such a dry country. As usual, beautiful photography. Not sure Oman would be my first choice of vacation destinations, but it looks incredible. I would be too much of a coward to go there. Thank goodness I have you guys to do my travelling for me. Wish you had more subscribers. Cheers

Cheers Mark, appreciate that. Yeah, lots of wadis (kind of canyons/gorges/river valleys) which have intermittent streams depending on the season/rain in the mountains. Definitely not for everyone but the country does also have plenty of hotels, unique stays, luxury desert camps, etc, so there are options. We’re just happy travelling in this style of course 😃

Wow, what a great video, the costal road from Muscat to Salalah has very nice and quiet beaches, Fazaeh beach of course is the top, it's impressive that you went to many places that even many Omanis don't know about, with most challenging routes like balad siat village and Salama plateau, i really enjoyed it and thanks for sheding a light at Oman's nature.

I reckon that if routine life is one piece of prose to almost all the persons, travel that two of you make trips is poetry to me. So, the impression of mine from the delicacy or elegance of adventures of yours lies in the joy of freedom, just like William Hazlitt’s one, a relief ㅡ just like an afterimage that lingers in my dream for a long time from life's heavy obligations each time I enjoy watching yours; I've refreshingly enjoyed yours once more today! In addition, I experience in my own way the majestic or dignified resonance of your travels, the sound of the waves, particularly by Oman beach, and its calm and immense wheel of rising and setting. I CANNOT give ENOUGH gratitude to two of you and simultaneously fabulous video images of yours beyond description! ( From Seoul )

Hey Colin, it certainly is stunning there! No reason why not. We’ve no experience riding motorbikes but we’ve seen others doing just that. If you were planning on riding the rougher tracks, you’d definitely need the right kind of bike, but if you’re experienced then we imagine it would be a lot of fun 😃

Ummm, not at all sure this is somewhere for me. Cannot put my finger on why other than too quiet, not a soul about anywhere. Prefer mountains and more diverse vistas, trees etc.rather than beaches. Its a good thing we all like different places. I love the four corners area of the US Southwest, particularly Utah, Arizona, Colorado , New Mexico, been eight times. Better 30 years ago though.

Indeed it is Martin, many of the things that are not for you appeal to us in this instance. Of course, we also like mountains and trees, etc. Would love to visit that part of the US at some point 😃

You wouldn't be disappointed. Central, Southern Utah is dramatic. You should hike Grand Canyon in Arizona. The North Rim is 1000 feet higher than the South Rim and.... much quieter.

Hi guys I'm planning to do a solo road trip for two weeks around Oman. Do you think duster 4x4 is enough to reach the destination
@GoingTheWholeHogg
Жыл бұрын
Hi, it really depends on how off-road you want to get. Personally we prefer something with more clearance and proper 4x4 capability (L4 as well as H4) for when the terrain gets tougher (rocky wadis, sand, etc). We’ve found the Toyota Forerunner to be ideal and have spent 2 months driving one in Oman. However, if you plan on sticking to highways and graded tracks then the Duster may be suitable enough.
