I interviewed Paul for a guitar magazine years ago, and towards the end he asked which of his songs was my favorite. I hesitated, because the song has no noticeable guitar parts: “Still Crazy,” I said. “Mine too,” he replied.

What talent! Paul Simon studied literature at University....I think this guy's writing is so rich he could have been a great American novelist. He manoevers the listener thru experiences like Joyce in Ulysses. Such beautiful rich reflections on life.

Nowadays popstars don't line up even a little bit of that kind of band anymore. They are too worried with the lights, the make up and the money. Maybe some good musicians ocasionally hired, but robotised. Shame

Amazing how much Michael Brecker looks and sounds like David Sanborn on this clip; so much so that Paul Simon even introduces him as David Sanborn

Yes, That's right. Richard Tee also played in concert in the park in NYC 1992, One of the most crowded concert in Central Park.
Wow... I did not know Mr. Simon could write in Japanese.

Besides, Brecker was a tenor player wasn't he? The instrument played in the video is definately an alto, judging both from looks and sound...

nope... Im one of the biggest brecker fans out there, and this really isnt brecker. This is david sanborn. Michael brecker played the solo on the album and did some tours with paul simon. But not this gig oh, and at the and paul simon introduces the saxplayer as David sanborn haha
