I remember when Ann Wigmore was there. We talked on the phone and she told me about her energy soup. She said she used avocado in it and it was cold like gazpacho soup. She was very excited to be there in Puerto Rico helping people. I'm pretty sure she made the soup when she was down there and it was new. Not something she had had at 'the mansion' as she called her Hypocrites Institute in Massachusetts. She was such a lively smiling woman.

THANK YOU for the video! Can you make us a REJUVELAC video, John? I’d also like to see a really good video on attending the Ann Wigmore institute - everything from what they teach (which is covered on their website) as well as seeing accommodations, local beach, example of a typical day, etc.

My question is when making rejuvelac (sp?) how do you know what kind of bacteria is growing? What if it’s a bacteria you don’t want?

Isn't it just as good to eat the plants straight from the garden without blending?
@thegreensun4944
Жыл бұрын
Sometimes when foods are blended, especially in a high power blender, it’s able to crack the cell walls of the nutrients in the vegetables and fruits that make it more bioavailable for us to absorb when we consume it and out stomachs do not have to work as hard to digest the fibers. Of course it’s still good to eat solid foods to exercise peristalsis(natural movement) of the intestines. But I think this is targeted for those who want to incorporate healing foods into their lives. The amount of nutrients in in a blended smoothie or soup would equal to ….too much for you to eat in one sitting in their original form lol, basically. So this is a quick and easy way to get in the nutrients without overusing your jaw muscles chewing through a mountain of vegetables 🥦

Can someone explain how you lose nutrition when you "over blend". Where does the nutrition go?
@okraw
Жыл бұрын
As far as I am aware oxygen sensative nutrients, such as polyphenols and vitamin c can lower when traditional blending vs vacuum blending. Excessive blending mixes oxygen with nutrients, causing them to oxidize (when an apple turns brown). doesn’t the pectin in apples make the greens more absorbable and digestible. i know gerson and wigmore both used apples in their green drinks for this reason. without people would often have toilet explosions!

Nice presentation of the energy soup making. Goes so well with raw egg yokes, butter and raw milk. The rejuvelac could even be replaced by kefir whey fluid. Wish John would be a bit more chill n relaxed; he looks so extremely stressed...don't know why!? Smile John! Blessings ; D

John, the visual of you two standing together proves to me that his diet is not adequate for being a man. Look at his shoulders. Look at your shoulders. No comparison. Your diet has adequate protein with tempeh and beans. His doesn't. Oh but I remember you said he was born a vegetarian. Hhmmm.

@@TawnaTV I am not criticizing JOhn. Keilash does look beautiful and healthy, as does John Kohler. I can only guess, but I think a different diet, perhaps in the developmental years would have broadened Keilash's shoulders. But I had a raw vegan friend whose frame shrank when he went raw vegan in middle age. I just think John Kohler is the smartest for eating some cooked beans and tempeh because you can see how strong John's frame is. Nobody should have to spend so long to justify why they eat some cooked food, as if cooked food is poison. It shoots everyone in the foot to spread that heresy. We are not apes who can spend all day in the jungle chewing leaves. We have other things to do with our lives besides eating raw food. That's why cooked food is unique to humans. I got to spend time with a famous raw foodist last year. I discovered he had some health issues that he doesn't talk about. My best guess is that it relates to a high fat diet. He was the last great strict raw foodist I believed in. One of the problems with high fat is that it satiates with calories but it doesn't give you the minerals and micronutrients, so overtime, it can cause deficiencies. It can also be clogging. The problems with a high sugar diet are well documented. The raw vegan diet relies on either high sugar or high fat for calories. For many people, they eventually hit a brick wall with these limitations. There are too many raw vegans who try to make a living off their diet and so they sell the diet and hide the defects and hide their health issues. compare that approach to Dr. Gregor who is not trying to sell anything but just uses science to speak the truth. That's the difference with the plant doctors like Essylstyn and T Colin Campbell who use science which can be analyzed versus the raw vegan influencers who hide their health issues and try to sell a dream. Kudos to John Kohler for keeping it real.

Go tell all this to Asians. Asians who eat more close to their traditional ways of eating are thin. Raw foods makes you think when you dont eat enough, or dont workout. Look, these two Men don't workout. That's why they aren't big... It's simple. No need to critique others
