When It is explained that John eats Wild Honey, this is significant in that it is literally built by a kingdom of bees to be fed to the kingdom. Almost precious resource and one of the most healing foods we can eat. Also on the other hand you have locusts, which are considered a pestilence and a nuisance. This is a contrast between the two and significant in that it is what the kingdom is built upon. That is why I believe it was mentioned in the bible.

Respectfully that is allegorising or spiritualising the text. He ate locust and honey probably because he was in the desert and that may be some of the body nourishing or sustaining meal.

This is just my opinion but I think Johns clothing and food is mentioned to highlight the contrast between what the priests of the temple in Jerusalem wore and ate. They dressed in elaborate robes and ate from the sacrifices. The Israelites were going out to the Jordan to be baptised for the forgiveness of sins by this strange holy man. Why would they do that when they already have a temple and established sacrifice rituals in the city? So this information about John is there to tell us that the organised and established church was broken/failed

I'm so unworthy of his grace and mercy. Jesus saved me. My heart is overwhelmed with joy when I hear his words. I just want to cry and be steady and silent because his love his spirit is surrounding me. I know he is the key, he is life. I thank you for sharing his word so that we all can get to know our loving king! Amen!

I grew up in the Anglican Church and I never heard about the kingdom until I was baptised in the Spirit decades later and had a thirst for the word

Is Portland as bad as it sounds? Dude your like a gem in the pile of stuff, that is that city. Still it has to be daunting to see so many signs of a place going completely S&G. Prayers to you and the sheep who hear the Messiah's voice!!

He doesn't operate this channel though. He is speaking and clearly aware of the channel's existence.
