I agree, patience, trusting the process. Being okay with the present and embracing every phase of the journey. I think it is OK to be destination focused a bit when you feel uncomfortable as you are transforming ❤

Giiiiiirl, I was just thinking about combing out my locs before I watched your last 2 videos and changed my mind. I'll be 12mths loc'd next month and wasn't really feeling the look anymore -- shrinkage is real!!! Anyway, I'm still on the fence about it but don't think I'll do it anytime soon...

Hang in there! Mine are filling out and growing like crazy. It can take up to 18 months for your hair to mature. Embrace all the phases! 💖

Don't quit sis! I'm a little over three (3) months in. Trust me, its not a good look!🤣but I love it! My focus is on having a healthy scalp and healthy locs. I won't allow myself to get stuck in what it looks like today. My focus is the final results. I'm looking so forward to the day when my locs are fully mature.❤ Again, don't quit! You can do this! Your locs will reward you!

i watch your loc videos alot and i also follow yannie the locologist: and i plan to start my loc journey soon: and i was wondering if you could ask yannie a question on my behalf: at your best convenience: does she advise doing braidouts or twistouts or using rollers on braided starter locs: deeply appreciate it: joyce💁🏿♀️
