Thank you for making this review. I don’t have a model Y. But I’m seriously considering buying one. I keep going to the website, putting in my card information, then backing out last minute 😂 I’m ONE click away.

Great videos! Your previous and other videos got me concerned about the MYP suspension even though I test drove that configuration a while back. Given this, I set up another test drive two weeks ago and I love the suspension. I’ve driven mostly BMW’s and lived in the UK for a while and had a Mercedes there. Maybe it’s me but the MYP suspension drives great and is comfortable for me. My MYP will be delivered next week. Can’t wait! Your point and set up is valid though for off road applications. Bravo for taking this on! I have a wrangler JL Moab and will likely sell it as I don’t get to use it to it’s full off road capability. I can always rent one for the one or two times per year that I need that capability. MYP will be the main driver.

Thank you for the videos…I’m a long time car tuner. In August I sold my 2 cars and bought a 2023 model Y for wife and 2023 rwd model 3 for me. I do noticed I can’t really rest my head on the head rest and drive 😂 without my head bobbing off the headrest. But In comparison to so many vehicles, these cars are soo much better. I had a few 2022 bmw x3 recently for a couple weeks as a rental for work and let me tell you how horrible those vehicles drive in comparison!!

Hello Brian, you are making great videos, and you have a wonderful family. I recently tested the 2021 Model Y Performance and my family found the ride quality much better that my Model 3 AWD with 18" Aeros. After expecting a much worse ride quality with 21" Uberturbine wheels, I was pleasantly surprised with a much better overall ride. Has the factory suspension of the 2021 Model Y Performance improved significantly since the 2020 model?

New model y suspension is mucchhhh better than early 2020 model ys. I got a 2021 and 2020 model y and yep there's a big difference. Tesla definitely responded to the feedback that the initial suspension iwas quite firm which I agree.

@@stanc8407 nope but to some the upgraded suspension could still be better. We can only dream of model s air suspension in model ys.

Great channel and video. I love that you can raise the car with this suspension. I love that look. Is this the best I'm not likely to offroad, so for an overall better ride on most public road, would you recommend this suspension kit for a more comfortable ride? Or is there another kit available for a more "Cadillac" comfort ride?

I have a 6-22 MYLR 21" ubers and I made the mistake of installing Eibach lowering springs and the ride is beyond horrible. I really don't want to change the wheels and wondering if I spent the $3500 for coilovers would it be a significant difference?

Is this suspension any quieter than the stock Model Y Long Range suspension? Currently it sounds very ‘boomy’ when driving. Lots of low range noise.

Hey Brian, after having both coilovers and air suspension. Which one would you recommend. I am torn between either these mpp comfort coils or Ohlins GT coils or go the air route. Please let me know, would love your input!

Is there markings to let you know where you are when you're adjusting the spring tightening it up or down ? Or do you have to go off measurements or do you have to corner balance every time ?

How often do the coils need to be replaced? I read after market coils don't last as long as stock
@2be1withU

Aftermarket premium shocks like KW last way longer than stock and some are rebuildable. Good coil spring rarely sags and don't need replacement unless they literally break.
