Aha! I started looking for a UPS yesterday and wasn’t sure so left it, and then this vid pops up. Thanks Uncle Nicko! 🎉

Nicco... My CPAP (ResMed S9) used to run out of water almost daily around 3am. To help combat that, I would keep an extra water chamber filled on my night stand, so when I ran out I could reach over and switch out the chamber and do this without too much effort. I could do this literally in my sleep. But, it never really resolves the fact that I would have to deal with this issue on a regular basis. A little back story is that my son is fed via a g-tube and uses a small feeding pump. So, numerous years ago his pump was on its way out and I had to purchase a new pump. I ended up getting a good deal on 2 pumps so I bought 2 pumps. Then a light bulb went off, if his feeding pump can run and keep his belly full, then I should be able to rig something up to keep my humidifier full. At that time I also had been using a So-Clean, so I had the lid with the nipple adapter to circulate the SoClean, so I figured I could use that same nipple to connect the feeding pump line. I used an old feeding pump pole, and able to situate the feeding pump, hung a 1200ml feeding pump bag on the wall using a 3M removable cli[, and woohoo I no longer wake up at 3 am with the smell of a scorching hot metal heating plate and empty water chamber. Unlike the CSpring, I only have storage of a little over 1L, and I have to refill the water bag every few days, but it sure beats running out at night. I also have to adjust the feeding pump flow, but that is seasonal related for humidity. I also contact CSpring and they are going to send me a demo model and brochures so I can pass this information on to my patients (I am Respiratory Therapist / Polysomnographic Tech), as we have many many patients that are having this issue. Most of our patients though have the DS1, which CSpring does not have a system for at this time, but I may be able to craft something to work. I'd like to upload a few photos of feeding pump rig I have if I can figure out how. Thanks for all your videos and information, and just to let you know I do give alot of our patients your KZitem information as almost all of the local DME's around our area suck at customer service. Thanks! Steve (Maryland, USA). I have un related question as a brand new CPAP user(8 days). Resmed Airsense 11 W/ Airfit 30I I am an obligatory mouth breather with nasal allergies. Question: Would a mask liner help with drool? It wakes me up because it just sits there. If yes, what liner would you recommend. These last 8 nights have been a real struggle! Thanks gary

Nicco, I loved your UPS battery idea. One short power outage and we're choking on tube. I added a Freedom V2 (US) to my setup to guarantee I can get through a night uninterrupted. Your large water supply is interesting. What are you doing to clean that? Doesn't it get sketchy after 3,4 days?

Can sleep apnea be caused by acid reflux or upset stomach? Not necessarily heart burn. Just excessive belching. I feel very fatigue during the day but I don't think it's my breathing.

You are rocking there. Nice setup Nicco,.I thought the machine is supposed to be at head level or lower. If that's not the case, I may look into one of those. What an awesome setup. Like the O2 ring and the uploader, but that's some cash there. I REALLY like my Airsense 11.

But… I read that the hose and machine needs to be lower than the bed/bedside table cause if too much moisture were to build up in the tube, it will run down into the mask and you’re then potentially breathing (or sucking in and choking yourself) with the excess humidifier moisture. And I can vouch for that, and that’s even with keeping my machine and tubing below the bed. I have the machine in the bedside drawer which in turn keeps the tubing hanging below the top of the mattress. I have been meaning to contact you to talk to you, have a consult with you etc, about how I’m best to have my settings etc. especially the humidifier. When that is turned on go what I was told to set it on, I end up waking up to a tube, and mask or nose piece that is filled with moisture to the point of a good bit of water sitting in my mask or nose piece. Then it takes two days at least to dry the tube out. Or I’d do my best with the hairdryer, and last time to try and get rid of the rest of the moisture within the tube, I attached the tube to the machine and just turned the machine on and let that air blow through the tube to dry it out. But I do need to have a chat with you. So if I could have your contact details (I’m sure are in your details above) I’ll contact you for help with a few things.

My question regards the SleepHq Ring. I notice the Wellue 02 ring on Amazon looks exactly like the SleepHq ring. Will it work with SleepHq? To order the SleepHq is an extra $30 USD to ship to the US. I love your channel, I've just been diagnosed with severe sleep apnea and won't be able to get a CPAP machine until December as the Sleep Center is backed up that far. This gives me time to get expert opinions from you and other KZitemrs. I'm going to get the SleepHQ software and become a member of the community asap. By the way, my wife and I have been to Australia several times and one of our overall most enjoyable experiences was driving the Golden Road from Sydney to Melbourne. If we get back that way, I'd love to buy you a beer, or two. Cheers... Mike

Look at all the best shit! Waste of money! Luna 2 325$ 22$ full face mask! 4 dollar hose 30 filters for 4 dollars! You can't fill your water? Is it to hare it lift the lid and pour it in ? And why do you need the battery system ? My truck has a 12 VDC output. It needs 24VDC so boost converter. You may have 16$ in it.
