So nice that you made another all Aussie video from your channel! It’s always awesome to see another international KZitem dive into our highlights! The only feed back I might have is that some of your pronunciation is a little off: barramundi is pronounced barra-mun-dee Pavlova is Pav-low-va But it’s awesome that you had both of those on your list, it’s so cool to see! I love barra (how i usually call it) done in a Malaysian style fried with Sambal sauce. So good!

A cafe styel lunch is more the modern thing. We love avocado...we have it with vegimite... Chicken snizels are popular salad chips. Chicken parma. Italain ,Japanese, American food are all over the place.. We do love saefood . Not really kangeroo meat its not the normal thing . Wagu and Angus are popular. And I a roast chiken versatile for anything. We have a lot of diets trends over.. here . And we love our coffee shops .very critical on the right coffee.

That vegemite is spread way too thick, lol. Only do that if you're used to it. You want to scrape it on rather than spread. You want to be able to see the butter underneath still and the colour should be very light brown. if it's dark brown or black, you've gone too far and it will taste horrible (Even to most Aussies)

I've had pavlova at restaurants before. It's often served at buffet restaurants, but looks quite messy after a few slices have been taken. I've also had it at City Extra at Circular Quay. OMG at that vegemite on toast photo, that is not how Australians put on vegemite, Vegemite is "thinly" spread on the toast. Barramundi, the second best fish after Coral Trout, just above Tuna sashimi, it's incredibly moist & delicate with crunchy skin when cooked properly & the skin and belly is nice & fatty. Kangaroo fillet is absolutely fantastic when cooked rare to medium rare and seasoned with a little salt & pepper, I can get it fairly cheap at a local supermarket when I'm back at home. Also honorable mentions to Cooper's Sparkling Ale (so full of goodness it should be called a food), Milo (also so full of goodness it should be called a food), Tim Tam's & Kingston biscuits, Bounty chocolate bars, Golden Gaytime icecream (we Aussies know, it's a weird name for icecream), Cadbury's chocolate, Mud Crabs, Coffin Bay Oysters and nothing on Earth beats a Roast leg of Australian lamb cooked by mum. And got to disagree with the Vegemite, AVOID IT PEOPLE. It is vile, tastes like someone dumped a bag of salt into a tub of axle grease. Never been able to stand the stuff, even as a kid.

Wow, you must be getting some tough & flavorless roo to need to put it in red wine first. I can imagine maybe a jus made by deglazing the frypan with a little red wine but personally I couldn't think of a better way to kill the flavor of such a beautiful cut of meat as roo fillet than by marinating it, it sounds almost tantamount to what Trump does to steak. The fillet cut of roo I get from Coles is tender & beautifully flavored (occasionally have to remove a little silver skin). Just season with a little salt & pepper then immediately cook to 52 - 54°c internal temperature in a buttered frying pan. Perfection. I think I'll save the red wine to enjoy with the roo & sides.

The "u" in barramundi is said like the "u" in under. The regular aussie burger also has a pineapple ring, tomato sauce, grilled onions, bacon and a fried egg on it. The meat patty is not beetroot coloured. Lift the lid on your pie (not right off) and put the sauce inside, it's a lot less messy. Eat the open side first to save your hand from the hot filling spillage effect. In queensland we usually top pavs with sliced strawberries & kiwi fruit and passionfruit. They are too rich for every day, so always special events. Most of your vegemite pics have far too much of it on there. Look up 4-ingredients online, for Kim McCosker's best selling easy aussie recipe books. There is one on pies, one on celebrations foods etc.

Yes at seafood restaurants, myself & many hundreds of thousands of people in Australia have had it before in restaurants that specialise in fresh seafood. Barramundi live in both fresh and saltwater, 5 seconds on any search engine will tell you that. I know it for a fact simply because they're in the river near where I live, even catch one every now and then. And yes, lamingtons can also have jam in them.

No mate, beetroot mixed into the patties is just not a thing. I haven't ever seen it anywhere in part of Aus. In your basic burger we have a slice of pickled beetroot along with the usual beef pattie/rissole, lettuce, tomato and onion. Steak sandwiches are also popular - grilled sandwich steak, beetroot, onion, lettuce, tomato, sometimes cheese between two slice of toast.

If anyone has the bright idea of trying to make a Pavlova, make sure you use CANE sugar, not BEET sugar or you will make a sticky pancake.

Barramundi should never be deep fried. Pan fried with a butter sauce is the real deal.

Also prefer pan fried barra myself but tempura barramundi with wasabi Kewpie mayonnaise mixed with a little tartare as a dipping sauce is delicious. The thinness of proper tempura batter lets you get the batter crisp while keeping the fish perfectly delicate, moist & tender. Agree about regular Fish & Chippo style batter on barramundi though, most take aways & people at home make batter that's way too thick meaning the fish gets overcooked by the time the dough-like batter is done. Overcooked barramundi, especially if it's covered in half a cm thick doughy , greasy batter, is a crime against nature and everything that's good and decent.

Dear Rockstar Eater: This video is a caricature of what true Aussie Cuisine is. This is just a video of the food we tell the internet we eat so that non-Australians know that you got trolled. I look forward to another (and hopefully correct) food review where you actually review Australian food you absolute jagarail. (And eat the food)

Barramundi, not even close to the most consumed fish in Australia... It's Shark, maybe because not many fish freeze as well as a gummy shark. Kangaroo meat is primarily used for pet food. Don't be speading that vegemite too thick!
