I am hoping to get there in 2025 at the earliest. I am starting to question why it's taking me so long to get there.

I visited Branson on several occasions in the mid-80's, but haven't been there ever since. My 1st wife was born in Mountain Grove, MO, and we drove from CA twice to visit her relatives there in the early 80's.....and while Branson wasn't a 'firm destination' we visited while being near there anyway. Then, two years later, we attended my eldest son's wedding in Kansas City, and treated them to a three night's stay at Branson as a wedding gift. At the time, I was just becoming familiar with the term 'Bible Belt', which refers to a swath of SE states with particularly strong religious beliefs. I asked my wife's uncle if MO was one of the Bible Belt states? (It is) He had NO idea of what I was asking and thought a Bible Belt was some kind of special belt one would wear to enable them to tote thier bible around with them wherever they went!.....and, I swear this is true!
