I keep trying to get the tab but it won't come through. Either a malfunction or I'm such an 80's dinosaur that I'm F'ing up somehow. Ughhh. Great lesson. Moving along. Just TAB would speed things up so much. Wish me luck

Haha... Your pain our gain. Thanks man this is awesome. What I really like is the continuity coming through in your teaching as we hear these styles coming out in your teaching and playing across your other content. It shows how all these ideas can be blended and mashed to form new ideas. Know this was painful to put together but so worth it and I for one appreciate it very much.

Great video. If you get around to a second video like this, here are some pickers I would love to see represented in addition to the aforementioned Dan McCrary: Chris Eldridge, Trey Hensley, Jerry Garcia, Clarence White and Andy Falco (Infamous Stringdusters). Thanks!

Nice video, Charlie Christian and Django shaped the guitar (via Western Swing), and later bluegrass. Anything sounds better with a dash of these players infused an any lick.

Great lesson Aaron. I can’t wait to work with this. I especially loved the sixteenth note triple idea in the Bryan Sutton example. Another player who I believe uses this is Dan Crary on the first track and all through his Jammed If I Do album. I’d love for you to explain how we can use that idea when playing straight eighth note fiddle tunes if you could in a future episode. Again thanks a million times for this. You might make me a player … eventually.

Your licks, tabs and “how to” are very much appreciated. Regarding Dan Crary, maybe you could unwind his stand-out rendition of “Sally Ann” from his “Dan Crary - Guitar” album for us. (Typical picker here; hand full of gimme-mouth full of much obliged).

I really, really appreciate that you keep the rhythm right when you slow down the tempo. I find it really hard to follow instructors that change the rhythm when they slow down to teach. I can tell you really put time into technique too, those hammer-ons and pull-offs are crisp!
