from my experiences, i've had post offices just look at me funny when i have decorated mail. however, some post offices just love the creativity and encourage it from the usual envelopes and packages they get! as long as they're not messy or inappropriate i would assume they have no reason to reject it. :)

I have really enjoyed practicing my lettering! I'm not organized enough to do a bullet journal, but I will watch a show and practice by writing their names and/or quotes from the episode lol. I have been binge watching "always sunny" so it hasn't been the most "appropriate" phrases, but it definitely helps me practice various letter blends that I otherwise wouldn't practice.

Thank you so much! The specific one I have is from amazon (the link is here: amzn.to/2IVN0WS - affiliate link). But if you search "Bullet Journal Ruler" on amazon you will find a bunch! I think this is a link for just a single one, I got the double pack but depending on which parts of the ruler you want you might just need one (amzn.to/2GZFo9C - affiliate link). Hello! It's from paperinkarts.com and it's called a Dinky Dip. They have different sizes (and I wish I would have bought a ton more containers for multiple colors). @HowtoHandLetter
5 жыл бұрын
I did a video on this! Let me find the link for you! I think if you're looking for a no-bleed solution, you might like the interleaved editions because they have an entire page for lettering, so it does bleed but there's no text on the back side. I show it in the video! Also, illustrated faith has a journaling Bible that I believe has really thick pages. I haven't tried it and it is pretty expensive, but might be a good option! Here is the link to the video: kzitem.info/news/bejne/yYx_moCOsmllkoI Thanks for watching!

To be honest, I got the Bible when it first came out so it wasn't really a great price. They've since lowered the price but there are other journaling Bibles that are a bit more compact and much more inexpensive. (This one is really heavy so I don't love to take it places). But Crossway Books carries a huge variety of journaling Bibles and they have sales all the time. I'm on their email list and I've seen them as low as around $10 - although I'll warn you they send TONS of emails. Always double check with amazon too because they often run sales! If you don't mind if it's a journaling Bible, I found this article that lists a bunch of places to find free Bibles: www.thoughtco.com/how-to-obtain-a-free-bible-701263 I hope that helps! Thanks for watching!

The post office definitely does NOT like the fancy hand-lettering. Everything is run through machines nowadays and they have a hard time recognizing hand-lettering, especially the fancy stuff. It will delay your letter by a day because it can't be read by the machines.

I really wanted to do this, got all the stuff, then realised that this is huge writing, and I want to elite small. I struggle to write this big.
