I am 66 years old and I have been crocheting for over 40 years. You did a great great job displaying how the stitches should be done. You have a great pace a great gauge. You are meant to do this. I wish you the best. One of my favorite stitches is the Afghan Stitch. I make my square then I crochet around it to make a larger square and I also embroidered a little flower in the middle of the Afghan Stitch that is optional. I also like the Stitch that is called a mile a minute. I crochet the strips then I put a border around them then I connect them to make an afghan. I've also used the Afghan Stitch to make a very small square folded sew it up to a certain point to make baby booties and I put a pom pom on them and to decorate it I put a baby safety pin on one side and a pacifier on the other and that's nice to decorate a baby shower gift

I like most of your stitches. I learned to crochet when I was 7, but I never got past granny stitches 😂. I love the dense stretchy ones, but I have found that if you go smaller hook can eliminate the yucky dreaded holes double and triple crochet can get. You can adjust your hook slightly up or down to your taste. I’m glad you are sharing what you learned because you are doing a good job!

To avoid the large spaces on your chain 3 at the end for the turning stitch, for a dc, you could just chain 2 loosely OR You could type into the search bar "modified turning stitch" OR "Improved beginning row double crochet" When I came across these videos I found them very helpful. I even developed my own way that works pretty well where you begin to make a treble crochet and then you flip the script... I really don't know how to describe it because to tell the truth I'm not really sure I'm doing it the same way each time! lol! Damn the bad luck that I have to stitch a couple of stitches in between so that I can get the opportunity to do it again! I'm going to have to end up making my sample three stitches wide, so that I only have to endure stitching one regular stitching between.

You have a new subscriber here my name is Mandy or Amanda Panda. My friends call my the Gothic Poet because I write so much poetry and I write about my personal struggles. You are very good by the way. I love crocheting and knitting myself. I am working on a few projects right now. I started new projects now because next month I am getting surgery and I need something to do while at home recovering. I probably will have a week of recovery and a few checkups at the doctor's to make sure my scars are not too painful. I don't heal normally and my heart is not well. My heart is complicating the stupid process and I am hoping I can get approved for surgery and keep my appointment. I have been very sick and this surgery if it goes well it will save my life and future health. You are going to be on the top of my list for go to channels for crocheting. Your voice is perfect too, I have autism and I don't process speech. It's easy for me to translate your voice so it's perfect for me. I love that you show your work clearly while speaking. Usually that's an issue for most creators. They have to learn what angles work the best. Also, I never had to really learn how to crochet and knit, I have the ability to watch people and do everything I see and I understand how it works because it's like a puzzle for my brain. I am very good at understanding logistics. My favorite thing about crocheting is the patterns, its like being in heaven to do a pattern until I am finished making the product. I lose myself in the pattern and I finish too quickly if I don't take time to enjoy my work. My autism is very focused. Crocheting and knitting helps me change things so I have to enjoy myself instead of being a mindless savant. I am in love with crocheting and knitting right now because I have been so bored. I am handicapped and unable to work. The government and my community helps support my life. I am very grateful for my community. I am grateful to have KZitem channels like yours too. Boop! 👉👃Thank you. ❤☺️🫣 My cat Ginger Beans likes to boop me and I like to boop people online to show my appreciation. Booping is a way a cat shows affection. Ginger Beans is always booping my phone and face while I watch KZitem. He's a very loving cat. I think he likes your voice too. He's watching this right now. LoL
