Are the input and output in NN are really layers? They don’t involve in The training. They just provide the input and output. All the training of the parameters and the weight update and Everything happens between input and output …so input and output are not really layers.right? You mentioned input layers as Neurons..which is not right. As you also said in the beginning of the video the input is just vectors. Clarify. Thanks

Are the Neural Network layers always fully connected, or is it just one of the types? And what is mostly used or preferred?

Fully connected layers are different from other NN layers like CNN, RNN, LSTM etc,. Fully connected layers are used at the end of the model for few NN architecture like CNN, which one is preferred? It depends on the problem you are trying to solve and the data you have.
