Any NFL dirty player list that doesn't include Jack Tatum and George Atkinson is clueless. Additionally, the narrator doesn't know the difference between dirty, illegal plays and legal hard hits.
@vestibulate
Жыл бұрын
A lot of these hits are fairly routine. By the standards invoked, Butkus himself would have topped the list. He was always wrenching opponents out of their shoes, twisting and driving them into the turf. And if you really want to go back in time, there were plenty of guys in the thirties and forties who were exceptionally dangerous on the field. Today's players are bigger and faster, but they're no worse in terms of tactics and temperament than earlier generations.

There is not a team in NFL history that doesn't have a bunch of guys who would that your head off if they could. How many players on an active roster of any team of 53 guys wouldn't destroy you and ruin your career with a vicious hit?
