I used to feel like a dummy because I had to watch your videos so many times and so slow to figure out what to do but I find now I have not wasted my time. I have learned so much from you. Your way of informing when you are doing something so beautiful is amazing and you are a true treasure! Thank you for your good heart, generosity, kindness and talent.

I would love to see more lessons where we focus on one object, such as the droplet, wave, shaded ball, fire, bubbles, rainbows and rocks. I know you have stuff like this included in paintings but I was talking about just focusing on one item where we practice over and over again to get it right. This droplet is a perfect example. You rock!

Hi, I realize this video is from about 6 yrs ago, but I just now came across it and even before watching the entire tutorial, I wanted to say how much I appreciate your fun-casual style of teaching. 💕 So many people wrongly assume that a casual approach automatically means that person isn't serious about anything, and that's just not the case with all. I love the saying: "work hard, play hard" and as a professional teacher of elementary school children, I know that it's even more important to have a good sense of humor (as well as good classroom management) when presenting material. The same is true with adults. Anyway, Thank You for being a great instructor!!!

First...love the voice over added info you give(love that added format to the video) 2 agree that the ref photo continuously on the screen would be great 3 for the shadow would it be black if let's say the surface your drop is on is blue or do you substitute and use light blue and darker blue? Love your videos and all your shared knowledge and my thoughts are with your family

Great video sherpa. I would just like to add in that it would be very helpful if the referance picture of the object we are paiting at each lesson could stay up in the corner of the screen all the time. It makes it easier to understand why you are doing what you are doing at each time and you can compare etc. Just a suggestion.

I find that I don't like all the brush strokes in a painting like a waterdrop (to me, the clean edges show the purity of a droplet). Are there techniques to reduce visible brush strokes? I find that I tend to overblend when trying to get rid of them.
