Honestly, flying with better pilots, and flying as much as you can (aka 5 packs a day) is the most effective way to progress quickly. Coming from a newbie pilot that flies with a Crew of better pilots, I would probably be half as good, flying solo, and figuring it all out myself

The flying different spots TIP and the multiple batteries everyday was the ones that Ive really seen help me but the fly with others Tip is the one that ive never experienced. You would think living in the San Fran Bay Area I would of at least ran into another pilot but only happened once. So anyone in the Concord, California area let me know where all the pilots are. Great tips👍🏻 I'm really new to flying and unfortunately in South Africa, especially where I live, I happened to find one guy that flies and knows 2 or 3 other guys, pretty scarce here. As for sim flying, I do as much as possible as well as IRL. First time IRL, went high up and did a few Powerloops and a Split S's, no problem, so definitely the sim helps👍🏻 Nearly took myself out the other day though, just went high, looked around and came down and couldn't see myself, I buzzed the tower, just felt the wind of the quad past my ear. Would've been an epic KZitem video if I did and had 3rd person footage of it🤣

Best top tips for FPV on the internet! ^_^ I've got about 5 hours real flight now after 30 in the sim & I wouldn't be doing power loops, flicks and tight gaps yet if it wasn't for the sim.. the muscle memory has been invaluable as I've been able to crash much less, therefore not break my drone and be able to practice more! Now I'm only gimped by the fact I'm flying an Avata LOL! Once I'm dialled in with it ill buy one of yours :P Then I'll rip a bong & a bando in your honour lol
Ive run 40 degrees for most of my journey I started at 25 I think finding one early and sticking to it is gonna help

I don’t know if I’d call this list the common sense approach to fpv or just good experienced based tips minimizing focus from advanced tech emphasis on the whole point of the hobby, fun. I guess I’ll have to get more creative at finding new interesting spots where I live because they’ve eluded me so far (yet to pop the bando cherry) and flight mates are far and few in my area too. But I’m happy for the 5 hours or so of real stick time I manage to squeeze in weekly in a field or where ever. Great advice tho bro should be helpful to many.
