2 great tips that helped me for learning from youtube videos: 1. 'K' on the keyboard pauses the video. 'J' and 'L' skip back or forward 10 secs. Left & right arrow do the same but 5 secs 2. when the video is paused, you can move back or forward one frame at a time with the ',' or '.' buttons on the keyboard. Great to slowmo solos.

Amazon has packs of 6 for really cheap, and they're identical to the Dunlop brand of speed capo. I bought a pack a few years ago and I'm still using the first one (I thought they would be crappy and break). All different colours. I was really shocked how sturdy they were, and since we have 5 guitars in the house already (and possibly another one tomorrow - a 7-string finally), it's just easier to have one with every guitar. Plus, 2 of us play, so we have to have at least 2 anyway if we jam. This is the Canadian site, but you should be able to find it on your country's site. www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B013UGGAEU/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

GUYS, for #9 (the KZitem playback speed), to save time, you can skip the clicking altogether by just doing the [ Shift + , ] command to slow down or [ Shift + . ] to speed up. I can relate to trick 08: I have a box with stuff that fits snugly in my bicycle bag. It gives me peace of mind and greatly helps me to be on time for rehearsels: * Extra capo * Scratch book; pen; marker (mostly used for creating set lists or chord progressions at rehearsels) * 9V battery * Picks * Power supply for keyboard * USB charger * Hardware tool that came with a multi-guitar stand * Multi-tool (rarely if ever used, but gives peace of mind) * Strings for various guitars. Before big events, I check that they are still complete and that I know which sets go to which guitars * Tablet holder (to attach tablet to microphone stand) * Mobile phone holder (mainly for Facebook Live Events at the end of band practice sessions) * Handouts that I use at sing-alongs * Various piece papers with chord diagrams written on them (for occasional teaching) * Strap holder: Got them from a friend, but haven't used them yet * Various beverage tokens that I got from venues where I played, that I haven't used :) When packing for rehearsels, I usually have to add only these things: * Tablet (I don't play from paper - Everything's online: strompf.com) * "Wireless cable" * Guitar cable (as backup or when using multiple instruments).

A Targus business laptop backpack is my magic bag, pedalboard in the laptop part, LOADS of pockets for fiddly bits like batteries and spare strings, assorted cables with separate velcro straps go in the spot for files - gig file fits in there as well. Extra space left over. A cheap cordless screwdriver would do the low stress job of string winding.... next thing for my magic bag, didn't think of that.
