I started intermittent fasting a little over a year ago. Some in my extended family and friends seemed to think that meant something drastic In reality it was simply skipping breakfast and cutting out the needless after dinner snacking. I have lost nearly 50lbs, almost never have indigestion, and I sleep so much better. I am also one for a good routine. We wake and go to bed at nearly the same time every night. I am a big proponent of routines! The last thing we, in our household, do may sound weird. We keep our inside temperature around 66°‐68°. My twins had a short stay in the NICU when they were born. I always remembered one of the nurses telling us 68° to 70° was the perfect temperatures. Been keeping it cool for nearly 16 years now! And yes, tea! Always room for tea! Lemon balm is one of my favorites and it grows prolifically!

Loved this video very much, thank you for all the helpful tips! I wanted to share something I learned recently in case it could be helpful for you or your viewers. All of the studies that have been done on intermittent fasting have been on men. The cyclical hormonal shifts that women experience are very different from men, and recent information is showing that intermittent fasting can cause a lot of stress to women's bodies and hormonal health, and cause them to have elevated cortisol and overall stress levels. I wanted to share in case this is new information for some, and they'd like to look into it. Have a blessed day, and thank you for your lovely content!❤

Yes! Women are not little men! Women should never fast when on their cycle or ovulating.

I love writing about my day in my 5-year journal that’s called “A Line a Day.” It’s such a realistic practical way to number my days and be able to reflect on what I did that same day years previously as it’s filled in! ❤

I have castor oil, that’s awesome, how do you keep it from being sticky on your sheets? It’s so viscous and thick. Do you use it for healthy skin or for joints?❤

It’s very thick yes.. I usually will add a little coconut oil to cut the stickiness but there really is no way around that🤷🏻♀️

I take my magnesium supplement before bed time. It helps to make you drowsy and sleep better. Throughout the night I use a sleep mask to darken my room for a better night's rest.

#9 brought tears to my eyes. I have been praying over my children since before they were born. They are teenagers now and thankfully, many of those prayers have been answered. I have no doubt that God blesses those faithful in prayer. Blessings to you and your sweet family!! I thoroughly enjoy your weekly videos of inspiration!!

Great list. No one but me but I certainly do most of the suggestions. My children are grown but I certainly pray for them, actually, throughout the day. God bless you and your family.
