'Spider Baby' was great. And, Boon Jong Ho is a fantastic director: 'Host' was great, but 'Snowpiercer' is one of my top favorite films. Other films, not mentioned, that I would add to the list are two that star George C. Scott - 'The Changeling' and 'Exorcist III/Legion', and one more film that, while not a 'great motion picture', but has stuck with me, all the same, is 2008's 'The Ruins'.
@MoviesAndMunchies

I loved 'Snowpiercer' too! That school scene was just crazy! Loved 'The Changeling' also...but haven't seen Exorcist III yet...I heard it has one of the best scares ever. I read the book 'Ruins' so the movie ended up disappointing me. I loved the premise though!

The only movie that I can think of that hasn't been listed was "Let Me In" (2010). I tried watching the "Rec" movies in the dark but failed. I've never been so creeped out while watching a movie. Train to Busan was a fantastic movie. Definitely not your typical zombie flick. I thought of one more but it's a Netflix series. It's called "Kingdom" (2019). It's really good and season two is already green lit for next year. I thought of one more. It's not dealing with monsters or zombies but it's fantastic and will leave you feeling tense. Green Room (2015).

If you liked Let Me In, you should check out the original 'Let the Right One In' - it's a Swedish film and excellent! I've been watching Kingdom on Netflix and really enjoy it so far. Oh, Green Room! That's a great addition - very tense and unsettling!

This list was ace! Thanks a lot. I'm not the average horror fan, but once in a while I like to get in there. LOVED "Tucker & Dale", it's so over the top in so many ways. Here's a challenge for you; to do a similar list but the topic being fantasy films/series. Honestly, apart from the LOTR films, it seems hard for film-makers to create good and solid fantasy films. There's always the same - good beginning, bad ending or the cheesiest dialogue or effects. Yes, that's a true challenge. 🇸🇪💙🇺🇸😁
