I saw the entry about Mantaur being dynamic and googled him to see more of his matches (before my time, I was aged 2-4 when he was in WWF), and found out he passed just a few days ago. So sad, he was a great worker and apparently well liked by everyone. RIP Mike "Mantaur" Halac, taken too young.

One moment that i wished had happened when Social Media was around was that Bret Hart promo that was the beginning of the Vince character. You know the one when Bret was i think the first ever WWE talent to put their hands on the boss when he shoved Vince to the floor. It was Bret's best promo and it's such an iconic moment that barely anyone ever references or gets discussed about. Fans always complain that Bret's promo work is terrible but they never reference this moment at all or seem to forget about it entirely. It's also famous for when Psycho Sid comes to the ring & says that hilarious line "I don't know shit cry baby!"

People may only acknowledge this in passing but the original Doink the Clown was terrifying. His music, his look, his antics, his wrestling style, the fact that there were two of him at some points…it was all brilliant and creepy.

The biggest misconception about Brock Lesnar is that he hates professional wrestling. He doesn't. He hated the grind of non-stop travel, no rest, working 6 days a week. He likes pro wrestling, so long as it makes sense. You can tell when he's invested in an angle (See Brock vs Daniel Bryan) and when he's not (see Brock vs Dean Ambrose).

My favorite moment no one ever talks about is the number 1 contender match between HHH and The Undertaker that HHH won and then immediately after Eric Bischoff saw WWE champion Brock Lesner back when the title floated between both shows get into Stephanie McMahon's limo and eric learned Brock will ONLY be appearing on smackdown from now on leading to eric to hand the new world heavyweight championship to HHH because he was the raw number one contender.

The thing about being around early 30s older is you remember some of the good stuff ( and bad) thar happened.. And capital punishment was one of the good ones lost..all because I remember being so excited to see RTruth as the main event..when wwe had to change things up and give a brother the main event with cena..even though we all knew the eventual conclusion, on that night, it was totally worth it

One really badass moment no one talks about is the absolute destruction of Jesus by John Cena at Armageddon 2004. I’ve never seen John Cena stiff his opponents like that. Also Undertaker beating up DDP at the KoTR 2001, watching ABA Taker slowly walk down the ramp and put his gloves on was a work of art in my opinion. They didn’t even have a match, it was just a fight. Loved it.
