Yeah! I think those both are simply people missing small details. You don't notice the veil unless you're really looking hard at it. As for the gold bracelet, similar thing. It could be mistaken for just a stray brush mark or just not spotted all together, it's very small.

The Bucket List one is interesting. I've heard people get confused because, for literal hundreds of years, people have been expressing wanting to do important fun things before their deaths. So, when the movie came out, the term "Bucket List" sorta took its rightful place as an easy way for people to express their feelings. Either that, or people were saying "bucket list" for decades, but the movie popularized it.

Fun fact with the Woody line, in my native language it was never in plural form, not even in the first movie. In the Dutch version they removed the plural form because it wouldn't make sense for our language as well if one snake is inside 2 boots. The most profound one for me has been yield signs. I'm 37. Been driving since I was 16. Have seen more yield signs than I can count in my life. They've ALWAYS been yellow downward-pointing triangles with the word YIELD in black in the center. Only a month ago, someone asked me what color/shape yield signs are. So that's what I said. He says "nope.".. Huh? I google it, and now they're red and white! And now I can't find ANY yellow and black yield signs in real life anywhere! Apparently they stopped making them in 1972, and they're super-rare now. But I've seen countless thousands of them, my WHOLE life, up UNTIL my friend asked me what color they are, and suddenly now I'm in a universe where yield signs are red and white. So I asked my mom, dad, brother, sister, and multiple friends what color/shape yield signs are. ALL OF THEM said yellow triangles with black letters! And now ALL of them are having the same experience I'm having, seeing them as red and white everywhere, and being bewildered because NONE OF US have seen these weirdass red/white yield signs before.

I think the Toy Story one was just the writers knowing that ‘snake in my boots’ didn’t make sense so changed it in later movies.

I actually remember back when I was 5 or 6, I actually quoted "objects in mirror may be closer than they appear" when talking with my friends about the Trex mirror scene from Jurassic Park. Then my brother corrected me that it was "are", not "may be", and I confirmed as much after checking my parents' car mirror. It's weird I had the Mandela effect for a very short time, yet my brother never had it. We were 5-8 years old, mid 90s. Also the cornucopia is driving me insane

For the Mona Lisa's veil I suspect it was mostly just overlooked for a long time. Mostly because most of us haven't seen it in person, only in photos and videos. A subtle detail like that was probably just too difficult to see clearly until photo/video technology improved to HD quality.

I remember a BFDI Mandela effect that only I seemed to notice, either that or my memory sucks There was this scene where Leafy and Evil Leafy meet up, and become best friends, while Pin gets sad and jealous, yet when I rewatched the series a year ago, I noticed it was never there, although I think it was just a fan made scene I imagined as a kid. Also I swear there was a season 1 compilation video before the 2018 one! I remember watching it in 2013-2014 when I was 4-5!

Woody's line is definitely people remembering it wrong and the line itself having the wrong grammar as it was said. The only reason that it sounded the way people remembered it as is probably because of how fast the line was said and how Tom Hanks said it in such a manner that it immediately auto corrects in your head when you hear it over and over.

I feel that I should make a minor correction, the pyramids aren't an example of a madela effect, you said that they were because we were always told that they were tombs, yet there were never any mummies found there. In truth, they are tombs and we are still taught that because we know that the pyramids were robbed and the mummies and all the valuables within were stolen. Also, in the valley of kings, most of the same was true, many of the tombs had been robbed, the only reason king tut was found was because his tomb was lost and nobody knew where it was.

Something I noticed is that once you see what's changed or it has been pointed out it will forever be there. But, go ask someone to look at something they wont notice it untill its mentioned. My theory is mandela effects are made (idk how) and everyone is living in there own reality but then cross over to alternate reality once they are made aware. I never once in my life noticed the veil on Mona Lisa but now I see it. But I bet had I not seen this video it wouldn't be there.

There were originally bodies in the pyramids, it's just that the 19th century British aristocracy thought that mummies were magic so they ate basically all of the mummies in lower Egypt leaving the valley of kings as the only major place archeologists got to before the graverobbers

I switch universes a lot. I'll have conversations with people and then later I'll bring it up to them, and they'll say they never had that conversation. One time I went to McDonald's and asked for a double cheeseburger combo, which I've gotten lots of times, even ranging back from a week prior to that very visit, and they told me they didn't have a double cheeseburger combo. I was surprised, and asked if they changed it. And they told me it was never this way. Although I'd be to that McDonald's many times, and always ordered a double cheeseburger combo. (I'm not sure if it changed back, someone let me know.) I would also go to that McDonald's and order a breakfast burrito during lunch time, as I remember that being the only breakfast they were allowed to make after breakfast was already over. And I would even buy it for my friends and family after school, which was obvious after the morning was already over, and I would urge them all to try it, because it was the best thing ever at the time. Only for that same McDonald's to tell me that they don't sell breakfast burritos during lunch time, and what's more, never have. Although I clearly remember buying tons of breakfast burritos, and even sharing with other people, getting them to try it. I'll hear tunes that I think sound very familiar or very typical, like it's always used, only to find out that the tune or melody is far more original than I think, and that I have in fact, never heard it anywhere else. I'll specifically recall a funny moment in a movie or TV show, and emphasize the most funny expression or line, only for that line to be completely different upon rewatching it. And not even lines that are full phrases or sentences. It could be one word or an exclamation, and I'd still get it wrong. For example in Family Guy, when me and my sister would replay parts of the show we found funny, over and over again. And there was an episode where Peter announced to the family that he was going to buy the family something they've always wanted. To which each time a family member would guess incorrectly, they would get slapped by a different character. To which Lois guessed: "A pool?" And Peter smacked her in the back of the head, before saying: "Oh wait. It was that." And me and my sister specifically remember Lois saying: "Ah!" After getting slapped. And we had replayed this scene many times, because we found it so funny. To which after rewatching it, we found the that not only did Lois now say: "Oh!" Instead of: "Ah!" But Peter now said: "Oh wait. It was a pool." These Mandela effects are not just remembrances. They are all around the world, and there are too many to simply be coincidences. Many people are reporting these, and the sceneries are far too oddly specific to be a coincidence. There is something strange going on with the universe.

What about Asriel dreemurr’s eyes? I distinctly remember them being blue, but some people remember them as either yellow or red? I’m genuinely confused because I swear, Asriel’s eyes were always blue, and anything else was just fan artists mixing it up. That Mandela effect is driving me crazy.

Ok so here's what's weird about the objects in mirror one... I remember reading it as a kid over n over, n then, also when still a kid, probably pre-teen to early teen years, I remember seeing it the way it is now, n remember thinking someone must have finally pointed how stupid it sounded the other way, cuz the first way makes it sound like they're not sure if the function MEANT to make things seem further away, would be working or not, n the second fixed that.... i even remember having a conversation about the change within a few years of noticing it.... but they say now that it was never the first way at all??? That's weird af

I remember having a similar effect with mario 64's opening stage, like the "every copy of mario 64 is personalized" theory. the first time I played the game, I played it on my friend's old n64 because I had never played it before, but I only got to play for a few seconds. When I went back to playing it on the ds I didn't notice anything, but I did when I heard about the "every copy of mario 64 is personalized" theory after I played the game on switch. What really strikes me weird, is that before I had played it on ds, I had played a newgrounds n++ like game based on mario 64 that I remember looked similar to the opening level I saw on my friend's n64. There was another time I remember having a similar effect with the sonic 3 & knuckles special stages, and I remember them all being different on my genisis but everyone and everything shows they have always been the way they are now.

The Woodie one is easily explainable, it’s just a misheard line on par with “so long gay bowser”. If you closely analyze it it’s obvious he’s saying bootS, but if you’re just watching the movie, the audio is scratchy making the difference between “T” and “TS” fairly minimal; and of course “boot” makes more sense grammatically. With a combination of the audio being unclear and the misheard line making more sense, the brain hears what it wants. Even listening to the original recording, if I want to hear "boot" instead of "boots", my brain allows it because the low-quality source gives enough leeway for it to be an artifact of the recording rather than intentional enunciation. The Mona Lisa one is also easily explainable: most people probably haven't ever looked at the Mona Lisa all that closely before, and the veil is just SUCH a subtle detail. People aren't misremembering, they probably literally never noticed that she had a veil in the first place. You can only tell the veil is there by a shadow behind her hair (easily mistakable for... more hair), or a *really* thin line on her forehead that is easily missed unless you're zooming in real close or actively looking for it. In-person at the Louvre, most people are viewing a tiny painting on the wall behind a sea of people so such a small, subtle detail is also easy to gloss over. This one is obviously just attributable to a lot of people missing a subtle detail that is just by its nature very easy to miss.

About the Mona Lisa one, I can confidently day that in the 18 years of my life, I have only seen the painting 3 times (google images of course) due to my irrational fear of the painting. That being said, I clearly remember her having a veil. She always had a veil. Period. My theory is that whenever a show or movie makes a reference to the painting, they tend to depict Mona Lisa without the veil which trickles into the way we view the painting.

As a senior lecturer on arts and design, Mona Lisa always had a thin veil on her. Also objects on the mirror ARE closer than they appear is what I remembered because I learned about this in my teens from playing PS1 game Bugs Bunny Lost on Time in ~1999. Nevertheless, though I can say that I have great photographic memory, there are cases of ME that makes me shiver precisely because I knew what I see and it's different now than before such as the canonisation of mother theresa (I read it on a magazine in ~1992 and yes, that is her name for me) and Johnny Quest (not Jonny).
