Always loved this movie. So much suspense and a great ending, which makes you jump up from your seat in relief. This is odd: At 1:30, you show tthe difference in the air filter housing, which matches with the appearances in the original and added scenes. Then at 3:00 you show the 1960 survivor back-up truck, which has strangely the 1955 horizontal air filter. Is that a conversion by the new owner?

There are some clearly visible differences between the 1955 Peterbilt 281 and the 1964 Peterbilt 351 in this movie: 1) The box that is placed at the back of the Peterbilt 281 cab is attached directly to it, while that one of the Peterbilt 351 has a base. 2) In the vast majority of scenes the Peterbilt 281 doesn't have visible trailer cables or air lines, while the Peterbilt 351 does; they're placed on a vertical support on the chassis, between the cab and the trailer. 3) The trailer is hitched further from the Peterbilt 351 cab than the Peterbilt 281 cab, due to the Peterbilt 351's longer chassis. 4) The Peterbilt 281 doesn't have rear mud flaps, but you can see that the Peterbilt 351 has two Kenworth rear mud flaps fitted. Kind regards.
