Legion Quest started in December of 1994. This is what birthed Age of Apocalypse. I really think the show didn't think of it first.
@TheMaxxAwesome
4 жыл бұрын
But the length of time it took for an episode to be made would mean that production for One Man's Worth had probably begun before Legion Quest was published. Ultimately, we might never know. But this at least seems plausible to me. It's possible that the two ideas were conceived at the same time by pure coincidence. The video nearly suggests that Legion Quest/AOA was adapted from One Man's Worth, but obviously that's not the case.
@Bossallini223
4 жыл бұрын
Age of Apocalypse came out first. One Man's Worth is a bastardized version of AoA. The show had AoA character designs. So unless Marvel saw the cameo shots of the secondary characters and then launched AoA with the EXACT costume designs from the cartoon, it's clear the show paid homage to that comic and not the other way around.

So many awesome stories this show created. It's interesting to hear that it had so many issues.

For me XMen was top 90’s cartoon. Thundercats was the top from the 80’s. Just personal preference 🤷

Beyond good and evil was pretty close to that Apocalypse story. The show never got cancelled. It got extended.

Grew up watching X-Men and Power Rangers! X-Men hit a little different for me cause it was the first Saturday Morning cartoon that had a character die in the very first episode then he returned later!

There was an ep of the Spider-Friends with them eating at the X-mansion. Warpath was there and Wolverine was Aussie then, too. Iceman met Storm for 1st time.

Batman beyond, Batman TAS, Batman and friends, X-men, Spider-Man, and X-men evolution were the last of iconic cartoons we got didn’t like evolution as much cause always wondered why wolverine was orange but going back to it on Disney + gives me nostalgia 🥲

The X-Men arcade game is one of my top 3 favorite arcade games alongside House of the Dead and Tekken 2, and is my favorite side scrolling "beat em up" game of all time. Plus the version that was at the arcade I usually went to was the six player version with multiple screens. Rather than select your character at your controls, you picked your spot based on who you wanna play. An AMAZING game, and one I would buy if I ever had a chance to get the cabinet.

And now, they brought it back, as a continuation called X-Men ‘97.
