A lot of people skip abs, but they are very important for a lot of exercises, if you have low developed abs, it could give you muscle imbalances and weakness, even back pain, so thanks for the exercises. Best and Happy Sunday Patty.

if u want it to be developed well treat it like any other muscle, do progressive overload...this is like a cardio circuit not that great for muscle hypertrophy as you're not likely to reach failure doing these, but if u do reach failure with these and can progressively make it harder then yeah its great, but its difficult to do so. if u want functional ones then do exercises that engage the core like squats, standing overhead presses, and so on.

The Abs is short for rectus abdominals and merely training those muscles will do little to improve your lifting ability if you truly want to improve your lifting abilities you should think about muscles such as the TVA or transverse abdominus and spinal erectors and a multitude of other lesser known core muscles which not only allow your trunk to bend but also stop it from bending such as when you have a squat bar on your back. The message with abs gets polluted often. You work your body from the inside out before you work anything else. Then from the bottom up. And you’ll have support from your core muscles with everything else. You shouldn’t get injured in that manner.

That's an amazing workout. I will surely try it. Actually I do planks on regular basis but it's like ego lifting where I keep 225 on my back and hold it for 10 seconds. Btw patty the gestures you were making by correcting the form were extremely cute 😅. Just asking do u play Minecraft and If you then please can you join my server after a month?? Thank you, I used it and will use these exercises for the next 3 months doing them 3 times in a week (hopefully), since I've damaged my core muscles so they became completely relaxed / unholding and now, finally after period of healing I am ready with them to train 💪🦊

I literally love the entire editing style of this video !! The Minecraft in the corner was PERFECT and it almost felt more like a soundless comedy from the earlier television stages (a popular being The Three Stooges!) since you waited to add talking to the end and I loved that aspect of making it more fun to do !! Both of my parents are from N. Europe and had ample fat storage. I have had 'hints' of abs several times, but never a clear 'six pack' (or even a clear one can). I am fine with it, as I am pretty sure I could get down to 55lbs and I would STILL have a layer of fat over my emaciated skeleton-ish frame. Always good to see you, I notice you were 'GirlswithMuscle" Queen of the Week as well. You are everywhere I go now, I expect one day to come home and find you at my computer, look up and say "Who are you and why are you in my house ?" in a distinct Twilight Zone feeling moment.

1) As a former competitive swimmer, flutter kicks still give me nightmares. 2) I've found that a great way to progressively overload on abs is to get on the decline crunch bench and hold a dumbbell (or plate) at chest level while doing crunches. I've done drop sets the same way, too, and those are also super-effective.
