I love how he was handled in the finale. Even though Mt. Tantiss was compromised, he managed to hold off Clone Force 99 and the Clone Prisoners. He was calm and collected throughout the entire operation, especially when releasing the CX troopers. He only lost his composure in his final moments, where it was only him and Commander Scorch on the bridge. He took Omega hostage, but that wasn't enough. Both him and Scorch were gunned down by Hunter and Crosshair. I like him, one of the best villains in Star Wars.

i think this character is better handled than thrawn. sadly, on screen thrawn turned out to be less amazing compared to his books version. i like hemlock better. he is all that calm and creepy with style

The score in recent Star Wars TV has really grown to the next level. I mean, The Clone Wars and Rebels had an exceptionnal score, but it falls short compared to how well Andor, Ahsoka and now The Bad Batch are scored.

Don't forget about The Mandalorian. It revolutionized how star wars films are scored becuase Ludwig Goransson made a unique sound for Star Wars

@@multicreativeartist6579 While it's true he brought in some instrument we never expected to hear in Star Wars, the score of the Mandalorian is quite classical. I mean, tthere's way less pieces that conveyed as much emotions in the Mandalorian as there are in the Bad Batch, Ahsoka or Andor. In all these shows, the music really set the tone, a bunch of moment woulnd't hit as hard as they did without their specific themes. Take the Narkina-5 prison arc, or all the themes surrounding the Purrrgils & Peridea, all the temes from Tantiss, there's none of that level in the Mandalorian. There are some incredible themes, but I really felt like I could turn the music out in most moments in the show, and my feelings about said moments wouldn't change.

@@emmanuelstalder6968 I have to agree but maybe in a different sense. The mandalorian seems to be more stylistic than it is truly making osts that fit an atmosphere. and thats fine considering mandalorian isnt about the atmosphere the show enters. its always about the mandalorian culture and how it continues to develop. where andor bad batch and ahsoka, the world building is so much more significant and the osts for the places you mentioned, like Tantiss and peridea, its a new world of star wars and the music thats part of the vibe needs to make a good impression that THIS isnt a place in star wars we've been to before. and I agree. we didnt get a lot of this level of music in clone wars.

I love it. And I thought all this next level stuff with the blade runner esque music and vibes was building up to what Kenobi was gonna be about… especially since… you know… it’s where all this horror all leads to: Vader. God the music in that show felt so disconnected and that wasn’t even the worst part of it. It’s like the majority of those making these shows did their job except the ones who had the most important ones…

these dark synth tracks are new and refreshing for Star Wars. they're sinister and erie, they add a sense of mystery, tension and uncertainty to the Tantiss scenes. Dark Synth really was the perfect choice for a Hemlock theme, they suit him and sets the tone for the story. this was by far my favorite season of the Bad Batch.

Another good soundtrack!! Why I appreciate his character: He's dangerous because he's highly competent in his job, he's very ambitious and doesn't have any scruples to achieve his goal. It's also true that as Tarkin said if he doesn't succeed he will suffer the consequences of his failure, so that motivates him even further to adopt questionable methods. He seems "immune" to "positive emotions" and relies mostly on logical thinking (emotions and sentiment have no place within these walls - cit). He treats people as assets, objects (he never refers to those kids as children and instead he calls them "part of the puzzle/scientific assets"). He's extremely manipulative both towards potential allies and enemies. He admitted he had worked with toxins and was able to build an immunity. I wouldn't be surprised if he damaged his hand while experimenting on that. He might have been experimenting even on himself. They way he said to Omega: "actions always have consequences, sometimes not in the way we imagine" made me consider that possibility. He's always calm. Even when the Bad Batch was storming the facility where Hemlock and other generals were meeting with Tarkin, if you noticed, when there's an explosion, all the others (except Tarkin) get up in some kind of reasonable distress, yet he stays still. He rarely gets angry. The only instance I can think about is when he tells Crosshair: "let's see how long until you break". There you can hear from his tone he's a bit annoyed. I can't tell with absolute certainty if he makes and effort to suppress his emotions or if he really doesn't feel much. Hopefully that will be addressed in the last episode.

It slighty reminds of ISB theme from Andor, not loud or epic but dark covert manipulative and I like it. Its also similiar to Beholder music if anyone knows these games. Anyway this is very well done👌🏻

I don't think Hemlock had to die. I mean yeah there was Pershing but we now know what he was working on, Gideon's Force Sensitive Clones. Meanwhile Hemlock seems to be working on Palpatine's Ressurection. So it could have just as easily worked. And just as I wanted to see Hemlock in Live Action too lol. Hemlock has such a calming and relaxing voice, and what's up with his gloved hand? Is it cybernetic? Is it something that he has to keep in check due to one of his past experiments? Anyway, great arrangement.

Hemlock: the more creepy, detached, technocratic side of the empire with esoteric posture and rhetoric, even if he had no affiliation with supernatural beliefs. He was the most alien feeling human. Like Tarkin he was a technocrat, although he felt more... unnatural. Know what would've been neat? If the Imperial Commandos had some Fett Clone sergeants as an in between them and the TK troopers, but in the rare phase 3 Clone trooper armor. It would be fitting, the weaning off of Fett Clone dependency. The rare phase 3 Clone trooper armor being seen next to the less rare (but just as temporary) TK troopers, themselves being a sort of phase zero/proto stormtrooper. Project Necromancer seems to echo both the dark trooper and death trooper program, if not undead troopers (legends' zombie death troopers). Maybe as the TK trooper armor was phased out to make way for the more uniform Stormtrooper Corp, it would be reserved for human recruits trained by commandos and then trained in Terra Kasi to serve as body guards, eventually donning shields and refurbished lightsabers, thus fulfilling the Ralph McQuarrie artwork, also prophesying legends lightsaber troopers cloned from a Sith and Canon's First Order Riot Troopers. That and seeing the specialized Clone Trooper variants from the Force Unleashed making a cameo appearance, showing how the future batches of Fett Clones were fully indoctrinated by the Empire.

The same old combo of Serum and AVA Quantum/Aurora. But I believe there's also a bit of Analog Lab V for the more synthwave-sounding patches
