But he looked like he was having a blast making this movie and I thought he was entertaining. It's funny, I enjoyed Jake's performance because I got invested in his story and he genuinely made me believe he was Dalton. When you look at it, Jake plays a character who has some depth that you get invested in because you want to know more of his backstory and you definitely need a good actor to pull that off. Connor plays a psychopath who will kill someone and not think about it after. That character does not need depth, it just needs to be entertaining and I honestly think Conner pulled in off. Sure I had to watch the movie a couple of times to appreciate the performance, but it was fun.

Is Gareth going for a Toast of London delivery? His content is great imho but his delivery is tonally weird.

I liked Connor McGregor in Road House. He’s supposed to be jarring. That’s what his character is. I can’t think of anyone who would’ve been better.
