The current TNA/Impact Wrestling is doing alright, but this is what the current product is definitely missing. These legendary moments/spots is the reason that made TNA the second alternative to the WWE or surprising the first alternative over the WWE around that time cause fans were sick and tired of the WWE (mostly cause of the company’s slowly transitioning to PG).

It's one of the rare few he ever actually connected with too.

I said it before and I will say it again. TNA could have been an incredible ECW i.e. being a small but successful real alternative to WWE. But they wasted so much money and destroyed their identity trying and failing to be WCW, i.e. a direct rival of WWE.

TNA gets a lot of slack for some of the dumber stuff they did but there's no denying that they put out some damn good wrestling. They put out some real good stuff that could rival some of the stuff WWE was doing. The problem was that elsewhere on the card they were putting out a lot of nonsense and bad stuff as well. The talent really deserved better a lot of the time and I'm glad they got to show how good they were on a bigger stage at least some of the time.

So by chance- I work with someone who is Berber, from Algeria. I mentioned things like this to him: rivers, grasslands...and he just responded with- yeah. It's common knowledge to them that rivers flowed through their land not really that long ago. He's only been in America for maybe 20 years, so he still remembers the stories- water ran through the area not long ago and they basically learned how to survive after the water went away. He says his people are older than Jesus
