Walker should be #1. That Walker trade positioned the Cowboys to be one of the best teams of the 90's.
@thegoldfly1
7 жыл бұрын
Yeah and Walker was good with the Eagles, proving it was the Vikings that sucked and it wasn't him. I mean to a degree maybe they didn't overpay as much as people thought, since his talent, BUT they overpaid because clearly they couldn't utilize him.
@whelpthereitis2577

Good... Not Great. SeanOMatic had it right and no way this one is left in the number ten slot. The title of the video is lopsided not ultimate result. Five players plus three #1's and three #2's... and you're going to argue about how unproductive Walker was and not about the trade. The video is wrong. If they are going to put up the question and answer they should at least try and get it right. Oh, and thegoldfly1, you're wrong.
@SeanOMatic
7 жыл бұрын
I mean, even if the Cowboys only got the draft rights to Emmitt Smith in return for Walker, this trade would still be up there, but then you throw in the other studs the Cowboys were able to draft like Darren Woodson, Kevin Smith, Russell Maryland and all of a sudden, the trade just becomes ridiculously lopsided.

1992: Trade Deadline. Mark Messier to the New York Rangers. Although I'm a Rangers fan, I think this was a lopsided trade in my opinion. He played great and people thought he was over but he still was producing 70 point seasons. He eventually won the cup with the Rangers in 1994 and ending their streak with 54 years without having a cup. He ended up retiring as New York Rangers player.

Kareem asked to be traded to either the Knicks or Lakers at the beginning of that year. His case has a back story. Kareem explained that as a Muslim-American at the time, living in the Midwest didn't suit his personal or cultural needs and that living in a world class city like New York or Los Angeles would be a better fit. He always spoke highly of the fans in Milwaukee and his teammates, but he stated that Milwaukee was an unsuitable location for him.

L C it worked because the niners were fucking stacked! And they had Jim Harbaugh. Honestly I never liked Kap okay he got us to the super bowl big fucking deal he lost, he's never been an elite quarterback all his seasons have been under 3,500 yards and under 25 touchdowns yet he makes 19 million a year they keep on trying to give him every chance even after he plays like shit. What did Alex Smith ever do? Lead us to the NFC championship, then started the next year off having the best year of his career until he got injured im a firm believer he would've won us that super bowl I'll always remember seeing him on the sideline when we were getting blown out and just hoping that they'd put him in the game. I will blame Harbaugh for that loss he always sucked kap's dick and because of that the quest for six continues

Peter Forsberg to the Quebec Nordiques should have made this list maybe even at number one. The pieces that the Nordiques got in return are huge. Parts of this trade where used to acquire other players and repackaged for legends. As a long term deal it resulted in Patrick Roy, Ray Bourque, Rob Blake, and many others I cannot think of of the top of my head. This lone trade made the Avalanche the powerhouse they became.

I have 2. Loui Eriksson, Reilly Smith, and Joe Morrow for Tyler Seguin, Rich Peverly, and Ryan Button. The first stated is because as of now, Loui, Smith, and Morrow are no longer in the Bruins organization. Excluding Peverly's heart problem, Seguin has become a superstar. The second is James Neal and Matt Niskanen for Alex Goligoski. Neal has become a perennial 30 goal scorer while Niskanen has finished multiple times as top in the league for plus/minus. Goligoski never became the player he was billed to be.

The Bucks had little choice in trading Kareem Abdul Jabber. He made it clear he wanted out and forced their hand. It was too bad but not a mistake. The Bucks did do all right they got Junior Bridgeman who averaged 13.9 points in ten seasons, Brian Winters a starter for eight years averaging 16.2 points with two 20 point per game seasons two all star game appearances and six playoff teams. Dave Meyers a four year starter who averaged 11.2 points and center Len Elmore. They made up the core of six straight playoff appearances so the Bucks didn't do as badly as others mistakes you have mentioned. In my opinion their biggest mistake was trading Ray Allen to Seattle for Gary Payton. Allen averaged over 20 points per game in six seasons with the Bucks three as an all star. Payton only played one year then asked out of Milwaukee.
