Whoaaaa Zero windscreen on a Harley?! Now you're making me want to collect parts from all my vehicles to carry over to the next. Does the Livewire One have a difference seat? I thought it was identical. Man your bike looks full adventure now! Can't wait to see where you take it next.

Yep! The exterior seat is the same, although the LW One does feel a bit softer, the locking mechanism is completely different, as are some of the electronics underneath. Just ordered some dual sport tires - soon!

That tail bag on the rack is awesome. Haven’t seen that anywhere before. That would help a ton on trips.

Thanks for mentioning you dropped yours. I dropped mine the first week. Broken turn signal-200 bucks. Brake lever 71.00,; Throttle grip gear damaged so it wouldn’t move th3 sensor. Thank God that was the only issue. 15.00 dollars. I am not as tall as you and it’s reassuring that everyone owner has yto be cautious. Thanks for the tips on accessories- BTW the links for the tail bag and straps are not good now. I did use your link for the phone Mount. You should be rich now!

Just got my HD Livewire and this was the first viseo I went back to. Saved it in advance! Thanks for this! How do you feel about the rear brake? Maybe my feet are weird, but Im wondering if there's an extension or anything :D

It's an old Zero Touring screen - I don't think they're being made anymore. Might be able to find one used online

What about the saddlebags you had fitments mounted on the bike for? Why didn’t you discuss them?

The bags I have are a little cumbersome to install, and I didn’t want to give people the impression that they were a breeze to use. Everything here is easy to use and attach to the bike

Hey, Ben: I crashed my bike pretty much in my garage. It set me back $5,000, so once bitten twice shy. I've been leery of taking it out since, as a new beginner. It has been disappointing that the Livewire One doesn't have crash bars. That would have given me so much more confidence. I bought the frame protectors. Now, I want to protect the brake lever if I drop the bike. Does the hand guard you bought extend long enough to protect the lever if I drop the bike? If so, what brand on Amazon did you go with? TIA.

Damn that sucks. I’m using the pan America wind deflectors, they’re not bar guards. Unfortunately there are no options at the moment for protectors on the LW1/ELW. It’s a fly by wire and the throttle input is at the end of the handle, so no way to add protection

@@AdventuresonZero Thank you. Appreciate the response. It has been very frustrating. They built a bike that was so phenomenal that it brought someone like me who's never owned one out of the sidelines. But they're not supporting it. I would have bought every accessory they had to offer to protect it. I didn't count on them not being available.

@@Barredbard well it was never marketed as something you would ride long/far enough to warrant it. Keep in mind the original $30K price tag for what was essentially a sporty cruiser. There are lots of motorcycles that don’t have crash bars or bar ends.

@AdventuresonZero Oh, absolutely. But most that I've seen in my research at least seem to offer such accessories as an add-on. An additional purchase. It's not just distance that makes people crash, but mistakes and accidents.
