Honestly you can’t go wrong with Apple Pages and a Pencil on iPad for making notes on a script.

For photography on my iPhone I use ProCamera. Very close to a manual camera with many features that produce results. It's been my go to for location scouting the more I move into film production, but I am going to take a look at some of your suggestions here that I have not yet tried. I do like ShotLister and ShotDesigner though, and Milanote is a must have for everyone not just film folk.

I gave up Apple years ago after many issues with the company. I'm not saying the hardware or software is bad but I don't like their corporate actions. They screwed over one company I was working for. When I switched from Windows, which was total crap at that time and Apple updated their OS based on Unix, I used Final Cut Pro, which was great. But they stalled the development of it at version 7 for a long time. I finally switched back to Windows with Adobe. Another thing I do not like about Apple is I don't want to live in a walled garden. I built my first CP/M computer with my own hands before Apple was a company. I want the freedom to develop my own software and/or use open source. If Windows gets too uppity I'll switch to Linux and still be able to use the same software I use now; Davinci Resolve and may open source programs. I admit I do carry a grudge about Apple and maybe it will get in my way. That's on me. So I won't vote for Trump and I won't buy Apple products. Go figure. Thanks for a great channel. I love what you're doing. I don't hold your use of Apple against you but, when you can, check out the film-making stuff for the rest of us.
