A lot of people ask me how I keep my home looking so clean? I've shared my methods before, but I thought it would be fun to put my TOP 10 TIPS FOR A CLEAN HOUSE in one video for your reference. Ashley, I have a tip for you I saw you putting your paper plates away flip them upside down you see where I’m going. Nothing will fall on that first plate because they’re upside down and that’s how we store our paper plates upside down. I see a lot of people store them up when you store them upside down everything is clean for the next person.

I grew up in a hoarding household… I never learned how to have a cleaning routine. In the past couple of years I’ve seriously decluttered and started putting thought into things and now my home is always clean, and I have three kids under 18 months old! It helps that my partner respects how I want the household to be kept.

This is so true. I’ve always been a clean freak. Then I had my baby last year and everything seemed overwhelming, the constant anger about not being able to keep everything tidy and the amount of stuff. I started decluttering and doing a bit at a time after my c section healed and it’s made difference. Got rid of the sentimental things and everything is getting better. My baby now 20 months helps too, so that’s a positive 😅

Decluttering is the best way I’ve found to keeping my house clean. I caught myself moving piles from one spot to another. I start in one area or one drawer and once I’ve gone through the entire house, I start over. It takes some time but it’s made such a huge difference in keeping flat services clear.
@beep-beepwatermelon4203

I do the same! I’ve been decluttering for a couple years and it’s amazing the stuff I’ve gotten rid of! The key is to never stop… now I’m just constantly addressing problem areas ( children’s clothing ), but I always have a box ready to go to the free store and I’m in the habit of keeping my eyes peeled. As soon as I see something that I don’t use often and I think I can do without, I put it in the out box. It feels SO good!

Make your bed daily, AFTER YOU HAVE LET IT AIR. otherwise, you're just trapping the.moisture you've sweated out. Just pull back the bed coverings, open your curtains and windows, to do your bathroom stuff, then come back and make the bed.not only takes 20 minutes to have a full air exchange and it purified the room.

Regarding bedding, try changing your pillow covers every 2 - 3 days, it makes a big difference. Also, I swear by flat sheets (not so common in the UK). Change this weekly, then the Duvet cover can last a few days longer than a week before the need to change it. Thanks for highlighting the hand towels!!! One of my pet peeves 😅

I am a terrible procrastinator when it comes to my laundry. I let it pile up and I don’t fold it till I have to do my next laundry 🧺 I am just the worst I wish it was easier said then done. But when depression hits and rolls along it beats me to it. & I just found out bad health for myself so that makes it even worse for me. But I’m hoping to better myself and declutter and get rid of things I don’t need either. I know it takes one day at a time. Appreciate you, Ashley! ❤ I’m a few days late but with the drs that’s been going on with me and work it keeps up but I’m always here supporting.

I was taught early to make my bed daily. My sons had to make their bed before school. If you have a beautiful room or bedding what's the point if you don't make the bed. When my bed is made I'm ready for my day. Agree, everything needs it's own place. A clean kitchen a must, I hate getting up to a dirty kitchen. Dishes must be washed & sink clean. If you keep your home picked up, then when it's time for a deeper clean you're ready to go. Your home is beautiful. ❤

You & I do a lot of the same things except the moping I'm going to look for the vacuum mop. I open blinds & make bed daily at 7am I use all 3 bathrooms daily and I clean the toilet as soon as I get up from the toilet and wipe down my countertop & sink and wipe up the floor around toilet & behind the door takes less than 8 minutes to do daily. I enjoy knowing I can allow unexpected guests use my bathrooms without fear.

When my kids were growing up, I did everyone’s laundry, even though they brought me their dirty clothes and took them back to their rooms and put away, just like Ashley has Samantha do. It didn’t occur to me to teach them to do their own! But my grown daughters have their kids wash, dry, fold and put away their own laundry once they are preteens, or earlier, depending on the child. Mind blowing, lol! Your kids are smart enough to do everything on their phones and computers, so they are perfectly capable of doing their own laundry. They just need to be taught! Even if you are a control freak and sort for the younger ones, they can easily do the rest!

Windex is an excellent cleaner for all surfaces. It evaporates quickly, has a lot of alcohol for disinfection and can be used almost everywhere. I use it for the quick clean up in the bathroom also on the toilet. Remember to clean all your remotes and mouth, door knobs and light switches with it regularly because they are full of germs. But spray it onto a paper towel and not into the air or the light switch.

I use beautiful seasonal paper guest towels (Caspari) in my powder room. No one likes to dry their hands in a wet hand towel. Matching hand towels in our master bath are changed every other day. Love your channel.😊
