Thank you for the video. The way you described cruising to Greenland as a laid back, cultural cruise sounds wonderful!

Thank you a thousand times for this. I’ve been hesitant to take 🇬🇱 cruise b/c I’ve read other 🇬🇱cruisers’ cancelled ports but you’re right about positive attitude. I’ll take that gamble after watching you. Im such a diva and would have tantrum on things not going right but I can learn from you 🤎

Loved your honest review about Greenland. So many KZitemrs just say how everything is Great! I'm researching different Iceland and Greenland cruises right now and it gave me a lot of food for thought.

Great tips I didn't know about. The passport thing and balcony were great.

The balcony thing didn’t hit me until the woman brought it up 🥸

We were also on this sailing actually had a balcony and enjoyed it. We were able to see what the weather was each morning - usually foggy. When the weather was clear, it was nice. We were able to watch the trip up the fjord from our room and stepped out occasionally to take pictures. The curtains did a great job of blocking the outside light. If you're not able to do the balcony upgrade, you will still enjoy the cruise. You'll just have to go up on deck to see everything.

Great video! My wife and I were on that same cruise with you, and I think I saw you at the atrium bar a couple of times. I remember two of the bartenders’ names there…Vince and Nancy. The good news was that they didn’t have to, but gave us all a $400 stateroom credit. The lady you were standing with that said you won’t remember names, we had a long conversation with her as we were sailing out of Baltimore. Of course, I don’t remember her name. Very friendly lady! We really enjoyed the cruise and decided to book again. Exact same stateroom, but in August 2025. Thanks for the memories! 🙏D

Thank you so much! Vince & Nancy we’re so great- that Atrium bar became my home away from home when Grubi Music was playing! I’m thinking about booking one for August as well just for the heck of it. I had so much fun on that cruise!

@@ANervousTrek We had a great time on that cruise, too! I also saw your video on Bermuda. Another really good video and great info! We were going to do that exact cruise on August 27 last year, but when it got rerouted to the Caribbean because of the hurricane, we decided to use our trip insurance to cancel because we had just gotten back from a Carnival Magic cruise to the Caribbean on 16 July. We are actually going to Bermuda on Regent Seven Seas in a few months and I think we will try Oleander’s for a scooter like y’all did. Awesome tip! Thanks for the videos!

We were on the cruise last august that made it to Greenland. Unfortunately, I was waiting for hip replacement and was using a cane. Because of that I was afraid to get off the ship at the tender ports. The scenery from the ship was beautiful. We were lucky that we had beautiful weather, too. With my cane I really fit in. I've never seen so many scooters, walkers, and canes. We also had two medical emergencies who had to be evacuated by helicopter.

Gosh- with the weather we had in Corner Brook I was genuinely nervous watching people that needed assistance trying to get on/off the tender. The boat was rocking so much I was even grabbing people’s hands to get on and off.

I’m planning on doing the August itinerary for 2025 and this video definitely gave me a lot to think about. Definitely going to go for the interior cabin, but honestly I don’t think I’ll be too upset if we end up missing the Greenland ports. Went on a cruise last year and there was so much to do on the ship we only spent like 1-2 hours off the ship at each port anyway 😂.

Yes! That’s the best way to look at it! I talked to so many new people, played games I wouldn’t of had time for, and the Throwback Sea Day is fun!

Planes are cancelled a lot, too! They are building new airports in certain cities. That may help things.

Just bring a lot of books, crafts, etc. Hopefully your cruise will get to Greenland. I wish Carnival would push the itinerary forward about two weeks. The weather historically improves incredibly after the first week of June.

It was definitely the most interesting cruise I’ve been on- one heck of a story to tell at least.
