So many SUVs mentioned here have crappy reliability. BMW or Mini?! Even Nissan. Please people, do some research before buying. Next, don’t ever buy new. Depreciation on these are horrible.

What if you plan of keeping it for many years and you only want you to di the maintenance
@justgottasendit8825

@@Piznick64 if you do truly do all the maintenance, pretty much anything can be reliable to an extent. Some things are just unavoidable though, like how certain years of mini coopers have inherent timing chain guide problems. A chunk of the guide will break, leading to a loose timing chain and plastic shards rushing through the engine. This is a fatal flaw with certain generations of Mini coopers and is pretty much unavoidable if you have stock timing chain components. Many people ignore it since it’s a costly job to repair, and to most people “it’s not worth the repair”. So slowly more things get neglected until the engine blows. But, if you do truly keep up with ALL the maintenance, most vehicles can last and be very reliable! All 3 of my vehicles are older than 1995 and are all in very nice shape! So as long as you put in the costs, most vehicles won’t let you down!

Except for the Subarus and the Toyotas , you’re most likely better off not considering any of the other suggestions no matter how visually appealing they may be.

You just got lucky, most likely you got a German model made in Germany instead of America, idk if that’s true.

Yes. All our cars are from AG Stuttgart. 23 GLC Coupe, 23 C300 Cabriolet, and our newest 24 S580. Got rid of 23 GLE AMG53 Coupe for the S. It was from Alabama, or Tennessee. Only German.

A nice grasp of the market today and where it’s going. I’m curious about the honorable mention, the Crown Toyota. It could be the way some drivers can enjoy the road. Useful information.

Obviously Reliability isn’t a factor in this list because suggesting on holding off to buy a 1st year BMW/Nissan/Infiniti when I wouldn’t even do that with the 4Runner (even though it’ll still be Takumi made in Tahara Japan) because a last year model of a Toyota is what I’d suggest anyone to buy (ie a 2024 4Runner)

The MINI Countryman is more like a Suzuki Swift, but only longer. Looking at it's grille & headlights, has MINI lost it's design identity.

The #2 on your list to "wait" for, the 2025 Subaru Ascent, is rated at 17MPG COMBINED?!?!? Either your data is wrong, or this boat will never sell. And, as opposed to your comments, it still looks just like a larger Forester (in your photos at least). Ugh.

I would have to disagree (from my research and experience). Corrupt dealerships are definitely still a thing with Tesla, but it is to some degree in pretty much all dealerships. For example, the added fees to the Cybertruck. A vehicle that was promised to be $40,000Usd ended up being $60,000ish usd if I remember correctly. The Tesla Semi when first announced was not even a functioning prototype, in fact the promotional video for it was shot simply rolling a truck down a hill instead of actually driving. The main issue I dislike is the lack of “right to repair”. Teslas essentially need to be fixed or maintained at Tesla dealerships as they require a huge supply of specially tools for anything electrical related. This means all Tesla owners will be forced into paying whatever price Tesla charges for their labour. And this will really damage smaller, independently owned, honest shops. Tesla has done electric vehicles better than pretty much any company in my opinion, but I personally do not like the values upon which the company is built around. Just wanted to share my opinion! Have a nice day
