Why do you need a nohlster holster? The clip is made to slide over belts and mounts. I also carry arc ring belt anchors. They attach to belts and have a metal ring for attaching nohlster clips.

Cool tips and products. This system is so versatile. Have you made or thought about making replacements for the actual rails themselves? I have 4 of the small boxes (the smallest of the classic 3 stack). The one with rails that are like 3” tall. I’ve looked everywhere for aftermarket ones that are anodized a different color for the purpose of identifying certain boxes. There’s not a single thing out there like that. I don’t see why a 3D printed wouldn’t be sufficient. I don’t hang anything from them
@JakeWeihe

I think someone has been prototyping a replacement rail. For purely identification purposes why not just paint them?
@The-Iceman
Жыл бұрын
It looks like I’m going to have to. When I just had two boxes, I took one set out and painted them black with a more durable paint, almost like a bedliner. It was a super tight fit, going back in and scraped paint off in several places. it just isn’t a great look.

By connecting the rails of two boxes? (Like drawers) or just connecting them to make a longer dolly? Have u considered a piece of plywood with aftermarket feet and cleats of a Packout mounting plate?

@@JakeWeihe yes I'm currently making one that sits in the side crease where the holes are, but I don't think it will be as smooth as plastic coming in and out, maybe couple it with the side rail mod for extra hold

The aluminum corner rails, I'm sorry to say, are an accident waiting to happen. A corner rail can catch on the handle of a screen door and if that tote is loaded and heavy, it can tear a screen door right off its hinges. This happened to me when I was testing out the system in my own house. Imagine if that happened in a customer's home!
@JakeWeihe

Are you talking about my modular solutions? Or the permanent level holders and cord wraps that other people make and protrude much more? If rolling thru doorways is such a big issue for you I’d recommend watching my modular toolbox comparison where I measure the wheelbases of a few different brands.
@mitchf5315

@@JakeWeihe I thought your video was fine and has some very useful ideas. As I stated in my comment, I am only talking about the aluminum corner rails, which are part of the Milwaukee Packout system. For any contractor, moving machinery and equipment through doorways is always problematic, i.e., you have to hold the door open (screen door) while pulling the cart through without damaging anything or banging something. Having to at the same time make sure the cart doesn't get snagged on the door handle shouldn't have to be an added concern. This is a design flaw as far as I'm concerned and was enough of an issue for me to return the Milwaukee Packout System.
